Motivation vs. Discipline: Why Discipline Wins Every Time
Переглядів 2532 години тому
Motivation can feel great in the moment-it’s that surge of energy that gets you excited to start a new project, hit the gym, or tackle a tough challenge. But motivation is fleeting, often dependent on external factors like your environment, mood, or daily stresses. It’s unreliable, and when life throws curveballs-whether it’s a bad day at work, family issues, or simple exhaustion-motivation fad...

    dps.mn.gov/divisions/bca/bca-divisions/mnjis/Documents/2022-Minnesota-Uniform-Crime-Report.pdf Here are the statistics for those asking. Just for quick reference: Murders are up 43%, Aggravated Assaults are up 35%, and Robbery is up 10% over his tenure in office. There were however 320ish less rapes statewide. Additionally, I have not done an analysis on Trump as I am sure as many comments show opinions are definitely concreted and it would be overkill. I have another video on JD Vance and other leaders also. Thanks for all the comments on either side of the isle, discussion is important!

    btw, if he had stayed in, he would've served from a rear area, not a forward area. It is not a big red flag. he put in 24 years, decided he would rather do something else, like teach kids. If you served, you would understand that. Before you ask, I did serve, in a combat zone, probably before you were born. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Walz service. Nor Vance's. Both should be thanked. There was no stolen valor. You really shouldn't vote, you are not convincing anyone of anything, except possibly yourself.

    Lies, damned lies, and statistics. Crime went up throughout the whole nation in that time frame. A time frame that included Covid. Minnesota sits in the back half of the pack relative to the other forty nine states. Not sure that constitutes the demerit you are handing out

    Whether or not Walz "quit" his post in the military is difficult to say, as they're plenty of people (including the Minnesota National Guard) said he submitted the paperwork before the call up order was issued. If it was really critical for him to deploy, the military could have easily put a stop-loss on him. Was he wrong to claim he was a retired Command Master Sergeant? Yes, and he should own that. But the accusations of stolen valor are, simply put, at least from where I sit, complete bullsh-t.

    • @oldinmassachusetts6251
      @oldinmassachusetts6251 22 дні тому

      Well, he retired when he was a Command Master Sergeant. A couple of courses and 3 more years of service and he could retire AS a Command Master Sergeant for his pension. But, he was already 4 years past retirement age, right? Did he serve as a Command Master Sergeant? Yup. Did he honorably retire? Yup. Thanks for pointing out that they could have put a stop-loss on him. Good point.

      People who serve deserve nothing more than to be recognized for their service. As you do, and for Walz. During GWOT the National Guard and Reserves had very long deployments. Walz was deployed to Italy as part of Operation Enduring Freedom for 9 months, when his unit was deployed to Iraq, they were deployed for nearly 2 years. So you might want to update your knowledge of what NG service is about.

    Donald Trump - the epitome of "Servant Based Leadership" 1. Be Humble - I've never seen a more humble man than President Trump #MAGA2024 2. Passionate Visionary - He's passionate about not going to jail so he's campaigning harder than I've ever seen (actually he hasn't been on the campaign trail for a week). Probably busy watching all the Harris/Walz coverage on TV. 3. Set Boundaries and Expectations - This is what he meant by BUILD THE WALL! 4. Teach People - I learned so much from Trump University 5. Influence your team - I bet he can't wait to have a new Cabinet since the last one doesn't want to work with him again 6. Surround yourself with a Good Team -- He definitely doesn't like YES men. All the people that advised him in a way he didn't definitely weren't YES men, too bad they're all gone. I sure he will surround himself with more thoughtful advisors. 7. Get in the Trenches - President Trump would be fantastic at this if not for those pesky bone spurs of his.

    Outstanding take. Problem with some of these comments is that facts tend to get in the way of their feelings. Also, he was busted to an E8 because he didn’t finish courses to maintain CSM. He also stated “weapons I carried in war”, as well as many other statements indicating he was in combat. This is a clear violation of the Stolen Valor Act of 2013. Having said that, are we to believe that this man is qualified to be put in a position to send troops into war after bailing on his unit prior to deployment. And before the trolls start in about “bone spurs”, Walz’s failure to lead his troops has nothing to do with anyone else! Once you start in with “what about” politics you’ve already lost, this is a discussion on leadership. I appreciate your insight, HOOAH!

      Again, a lot of BS, Walz filed papers to run for Congress in January 2005, filed for retirement in February 2005, retired in March 2005 when he was CSM, his unit got the deployment orders in July 2005, and they were deployed in March 2006, a full year after Walz retired !!! All of that was confirmed by a Minnesota National Guard spokesperson, Capt. Holly Rockow in 2018, and by Joseph Eustice, a CSM who worked with Walz !!! Walz was retroactively downgraded after his retirement because he didn't complete the minimum 3 years in that rank and didn't complete the required formation to keep it after retirement, but the spokesperson said that it was okay for him to say that he was CSM since it was his rank when he retired !!! "Minnesota National Guard spokesperson Capt. Holly Rockow told Minnesota Public Radio in 2018 it’s fair to say Walz served as sergeant major since that was his rank at the time of his retirement in 2005" Look it up !!!

    The same PA police that noticed and took pictures of Crooks was in a sniper position on the 2nd floor of the building immediately behind the roof that Crooks ultimately accessed. Unfortunately, between 6:06 and 6:12, both he and his partner left the 2nd floor to look for Crooks on foot. Had they stayed, they could have seen Crooks accessing the roof and stopped him. It seems there was an open roof that needed constant attention because of its proximity to the stage and did not get it. And because of Crook's sustained, suspicious behavior, at a certain point, he warranted the sole attention of at least one officer. Did USSS set out a plan that: (1) gave that roof constant oversight; and (2) had the flexibility to allow 1 or 2 police to track a suspicious person, if necessary?
