I went to a yard to possibly buy a some R129 Parts. Eventually talked myself out of it and just walked around instead. while walking I found a 1998 Z3 2.8 with a 5 speed Manual and Hard Top.

In this episode me and Andrew install a Borg Warner S200SXE Turbo, Kangaroos Team Exhaust Manifold, and fabricate a 3" Stainless Steel Turbo back Exhaust on his 1996 Mercedes-Benz G300 2 door W463.
Turbocharger install on my FZJ80 Lexus LX450

After having an exhaust leak for some time at the Y pipe on my 1fzfe and breaking the exhaust manifold studs I decided just to install a turbo kit. I used a treadstone 1fzfe cast manifold, Borg Warner S369SXE turbo and Precision Turbo external wastegate. Made all the exhaust piping and ran 4psi with no intercooler.

5000 is what the engines setup sells for with computers so that what I wanted. I have many people interested on FB marketplace, but only ones come through to see it so far and said he would call me with an offer 🤷🏾♂️ kinda annoying to be honest. The man was complaining about the paint and stupid little shit that I already show in this video. Also was smoking a cigar the entire time while in the car.

@@gruest101 Thanks, the rear arms are Camber kings and the front is TRW, I believe. All bushings were replaced with polyurethane bushings on arms that weren’t made by camber king.

No… but I’m sure if you had enough money you could design an engine similar to a 606 making 2000hp

The R2S turbo flows enough to make 860 lb-ft of torque at 1300 rpm on the 7.6 liter maxxforce 7 it comes from.

If you want to remove rear window rail trim. First you need lubricate all rubber seals. Second remove side trim lower part. You need to bend little bit. Next twist and bend upper part from glass. The last part really tricky. You need release middle part. Move middle part trim from glass to metal sheet. Twist lower part and bend, twist upper part and bend until you release free.

i know about seat not working to. people always try and put stuff under them. you can't do that with electric seat's a wholes. sorry some of the things you are talking about kind of hits a sore spot. tissue boxes. don't get me wrong. been with her over 40 years.
now in our pretty 85 eldorado. my wife would open the door pop the trunk throw the key's on the seat. go do food bag's come back and sit on the key's then just rip them out from underneath butt.

Thats my fav interior as well. Comes in some highly optioned W140 & R129 500's too if I'm not mistaken! A v12 swap would be so dope in any W124 or W126 variation :D

I've often come across Mercs in yards that have been written off because of some OBII fault that could have cost more to rectify than the book value.
@@Mercmad yeah I agree most are there because of the cost to fix vs the value of the car, but this SL wouldn’t have cost much to get it going. All the electronics were replaced. My guess is this was from an estate sale or someone inherited it and couldn’t get it fixed.

Im so jealous of you guys in the US. You have so many beautiful salvage yards. Some filled with classic iron as far as the eye can see. Here in europe there's nothing for those of us restoring an old american car. It makes things difficult. If i ever visit I would probably blow my entire bank account buying classic ford parts.
dear neverending, I see that you understand about mercedes, I have a W202 C200 kompressor 192cv, with the 5 gears (717.441 according to EPC) it is not very fun to drive, and on the highway it consumes a little more than average, do you think there is a 6 gear gearbox to be made plug & play? Maybe the gearbox of the successor W203 C200 kompressor 163cv (same M111... but 716.606)? Thanks in advance and have a good work
@@agenteblasco89 I’m not sure what the 192cv and 163cv means. In regards to fitting a 6 speed yes the m111 6speed out of a w203 will bolt up but you will need to make new transmission mounts and a custom shifter linkage as well as a different front driveshaft. But swapping to a 6 speed won’t save you on fuel. I’m sure they both have a .8x over drive for 5 or 6th

Why didn't you get a gauge pod for the A pillar. You would have room for boost and E.G.T gauge. Would look better too
@@87Benz-tf9qs to each there own, I personally think a pillar pods are hideous and would look out of place on a old Mercedes. My other sensors are ran to the DSL1 Ecu but I’m going to switch soon to reveltronics digital lcd screen in the gauge cluster for miscellaneous gauges. I’ll probably replace the outside temp with the screen.

@@ScoobiKubiSame R2S setup I haven’t dynoed it because it’s on the stock pump. I’m building another 606 with stronger rod and I’ll then upgrade the pump and dyno the car.
@@neverendingprojects can't wait to see how that pops off! which R2S did you use? i had been looking at the one off a BMW but they all look to be E-Controlled VGT on one of the TC's. I had also been looking at the hybrid setups some people do with them to make 4-500hp and the torque curve is beautiful! comes on nice and low and maintains very well through the band. just can't decide if the vgt is gonna make this hard to emulate due to mine being a mech pump. Cheers!
