    Great video, Glen. I am in the process of helping my wife invest, and we went for vdba ie premixed vanguard balanced etf. She is a self funded retire, and we thought that this option would mirror say a balanced industry super fund. You have reasured me that we are on the right track. Thanks so much.

    Grear show!!! Valueable info , Question : with FHSS that 15k max that we can take out ,is that once in life time or is it once every year ? Meaning if i make a SS of $800 every payrun and i have contributed more than 15k , can i take our 15k in 1 fiscal year and rest in the nextfiscal year OR ca. I only get 15 once in life time ? Sorry for long question

    I find it tricky to manage money with an offset because you’re trying to keep as much money in their for as long as possible, so using another savings account for expenses. The best I was at managing money was when I’d get paid, transfer what I need for bills and then everything else was transferred to savings.

    From $37K to $65K that's the minimum range of profit return every month I think it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.

    Suggestions for someone who is 40 ? VAS/ VGS or DHHF or VDHG or a200/BBGL

    • @davidg393
      @davidg393 4 місяці тому

      Don't like VDHG because it is tax inefficient because it does not invest in ETFs. With VDHG you will be getting higher distributions and paying tax on them, lowering overall growth. Either VAS/VGS or DHHF is probably equally as good. You get lower fees with VAS/VGS but you miss out on emerging markets that way. Personally, I went with DHHF. Don't like BBGL, as VGS is better because VGS has higher returns despite slightly higher fees because it lends its stocks to margin lenders. In fact, because of this, VGS basically gets exactly the same return as the MSCI.

    I love Superhero for the fractional shares you can buy, if you can't afford a full TLSA share for example you can buy part of one and still profit if it moves up. My only wish is some kind of dividend reinvestment , just a set and forget option so that things can continue to build like choices that pay divs monthly.

    I invest in vdhg, issue for me is they only invest into their own EFT's. Is it because they obviously thing their EFT's are better or they are reinvested into themselves. I think it's both. So my thinking was if they only have confidence in themselves I can't argue with that from a financial perspective. They know all their numbers so yh

    Have you heard this bloke swallowing constantly on his podcasts as well as swallowing liquids. It’s so gross literally listening to someone stalling down fluids while the microphone is so close to his mouth for all of us to hear it completely turned me off listening to him. It’s constantly and you end up almost cringing to the sound of him swallowing saliva every two minutes.
