The second entry in the Chernobyl series by Silden consists of 10 straightforward levels. The gunplay shows clear inspiration from Call of Duty games. The environments include the area surrounding the Chernobyl power plant and the Middle East.
Compared to the first game, turret sections are more prevalent, though sometimes they aren’t used when it would make sense - such as during an attack on a convoy, where you’re forced to dismount and defend on foot.
The playtime is around two hours, which works well for the game as neither the enemies nor the environments become repetitive.
Overall, it’s a fun, short game that’s worth trying.
Digital purchases are not available on PC/XBOX. The game is considered abandonware.

Dude, you ordered an air strike over your own forces.
Did you use a virtual machine to play the game? I want to play it again.
I tried few years ago virtualbox but with no luck to have 3d acceeration working properly. Maybe there were improvements or some other virtualization like Hyper-v is more suitable. Wine was better but sometimes pain to get it working so currently I have older pc with win7

There is also Enter the Matrix which "explains" the gap between first and second movie but I was not able to get it working yet. Both games are nice to play for fans of the movies.

Hawx 2 is quite pain to get working as ubisoft did not released patch after shutdown of servers for it. If you will go here www.myabandonware.com I put in the comments how it worked for me.

missing turret is still there but can be fixed by using dgvoodoo2. It fixes not moving tracks on tanks also

@@emptyplacefullofspidersI tried all the quick solutions for Windows 10 but I just could not make the game run. I am currently trying to run Dunes of War in a virtual machine, specifically in Windows XP and Windows 8 but I could not pass the game to the WinXP virtual machine using a shared folder because the VirtualBox GuestAdditions seem to be not compatible to the system. I managed to run the game on the Win8 virtual machine but it crashes with the 997 error whenever I start a mission and the mouse works horribly. Do you have any advice? Sorry for the length of the comment by the way.
