    You used the vinegar method alongside the Zevo, of course they will go to the vinegar. Use the Zevo by itself and then give a review. For those who do not want to use the vinegar can use the Zevo. Thanks.

    • @RoughandTumbleFarmhouse
      @RoughandTumbleFarmhouse 5 днів тому

      I’ve answered a few comments on this topic. I actually did do that and should have included it in the video. I so wanted the Zevo to work that I made sure our kitchen was spotless, hauled all the garbages, dumped the vinegar traps, had all the lights off, and just the Zevo in my most fruit fly ridden place. Then we were gone for the weekend. Came home. Same result. It barely caught anything. I also think showing Zevo vs vinegar makes sense. It still shows which is more effective when comparing the two in the same circumstances.

    You are going to LOVE this trick: yellow deodorant stains on white shirts. It’s actually RUST from the metals in deodorants. Spray it down with CLR or any rust remover. Throw it in a ziplock bag so it works and doesn’t dry out. Then launder as usual!!!!

    PSA: in my experience with 8 pairs of Ralph Lauren Polo brand pants, Pilot G-2 ink is virtually impossible to remove despite immediate remedies such as spraying 91% alcohol, soaking immediately with hand sanitizer, many stain removal products on the market, and even final net hairspray. Further, despite never using hot water or heat drying, said pairs of RL pants did not respond to other chemicals that purported to be effective. All pairs of pants were cotton, and all suffered damage even by one small speck that eventually grew. I am now wearing mixed fabrics because I use pens every day for signing stuff at work and teaching. I no longer buy those pens and I have an exterior pouch to Carry ink-filled instruments. I have spent too many hours and so much stupid money on these fruitless “hacks” and chemical concoctions. Good luck yo all of you.

    I bet the dawn alone would do it.The baking soda just makes it into a paste. A fool proof grease remover is to use a good quality mechanics hand cleaner on the stains. GONE.

      @RoughandTumbleFarmhouse 7 днів тому

      As I say in the video I haven’t had as much luck with just Dawn. Several commenters have said the same. I think the baking soda helps to absorb the grease where the Dawn is an emulsifier and breaks it up. We have had a few folks recommend Goop as another good grease remover!

      I don’t know that I’d say it is better but it has some pros I think that you don’t get with pasteurized. As for getting raw milk stateside it totally depends on the state. In some it is completely legal, some it is totally illegal, and a lot operate in kind of gray areas and loopholes.

      I have three very young children, a farm, and a small business that I am responsible for. My blog and videos reflect whatever I am up to at the moment that I think might be helpful or interesting for people. I simply don’t have time to do it any other way. Those were the clothes at that particular time that needed stains removed, and I was excited to tell people about it. To the naked eye they were very easy to see. Given the color of the pants/lighting in my house I agree. The stains are harder to see than I would have hoped for on video. Given the almost half million views and well over a hundred successful comments I hope that will be sufficient.
