Rush SR In between track day maintenance & things to watch out for!!
So full disclosure this is my way (maybe not the Rush way) of what to do and watch for when doing maintenance between track events/races on your Rush SR.
I also shot and edited this video in just a few hours so take it easy on me lol!

I think this is my fastest min speed thru turn 10 at VIR. 104mph on street tires!! Not too shabby. Still was a hair late on turn in so definitely more to be had!!

With @Gridlife at @carolinamotorsportspark6631 nearing I raced with the @SCCAOfficial to get some valuable seat time! Check out my new PB during the race on Sunday. I ran 6 1.39s in a row this was lap 3 and the tires were getting greasy at this point in the race.

Nice job, thanks. We also wrench the car every few track days, I find even with the paint marks lined up I can still get a quarter of a turn as the car breaks in. Looking forward to a belt drive when it becomes available also ... BTW we also upgraded the mirrors, huge difference!
@@user-mr8yg9nr2r absolutely!! Be mindful if you are getting a quarter turn on something that has loc-tite on it you’ve now broken that loose and it is now ineffective. You need to remove clean really and retighten that fastener. I do believe the belt drive has been put on hold as all other manufacturers attempting to utilize them have had significant failure rate.

I know it was crazy 😬!! I think it was an FE2 but I could be wrong. So many different classes in those open wheel groups and I am no expert. It was a Formula Continental right in front of me that I almost hit.

It’s a Rush Auto Works Rush SR. It’s a 1,000cc Suzuki GSXS.
It's got to be exhilarating to get your first race weekend in. Now you just need to find some more Rush buddies to race with.

Nice job! You can see the confidence is there in your driving. Looks like your camera is adjusting it's exposure to the changing sky very quickly. For example when you turn the car and the camera is pointing towards the brightness of the clouds, the exposure decreases because it is seeing the bright clouds. I was looking at the Aim user guide (not sure which camera you have). It looks like in the software you can move a defining box around on screen that the camera uses to set the exposure. I would arrange the box so that it is below the horizon so that it uses the road surface and ground level objects to set the exposure and less of the sky.

Thanks, It’s a 1000cc Suzuki gsxs engine it produces 150 hp and the car only weighs 1k pounds.

It’s an amazing car you’ll love yours. Don’t waste money on mods it’s more then capable stock. Spend all your money on seat time and don’t rush it.

Leave it stock ..mine is stock just run 19s squared so I can rotate.. flush brake fluid is all and go and learn

Nice lap! I noticed you are faster than me (2021 SS 1LE) in both the corners and long straights. Have you modified the engine? What tires were you running?
No stock car but speedometer is off a couple miles an hour bc im running a 19inch square setup.

Yes it's a 2019 ss 1le camaro, and I've been doing track days for about 8 months or so.
You had those tires working overtime on a couple of occasions. Nice slide coming out of T1. Not sure which camera you are using, but you should be able to reduce the exposure a bit to help see out the windshield. The camera is trying to expose for the inside of the car which is dark, so the outside is too bright.
It's a hero 8 and yea I need to play with the settings more... and thanks it was very hot n loose lol
Just a suggestion for the camera. You might try turning off the image stabilization. It is the reason the camera is panning back and forth and not looing straight forward. You might also see if you can reduce the exposure by a little bit. It will help you get a better picture outside the car.
