@Matthew-u9i hi man!! Hope u catch em!!
You don't use a skinny bobber like a thill center slider?
I have a few never tried em yet , I will tho, have you used them?
Yes, for thirty years at least. They cut through the water a lot easier because of their shape, the fish don't feel any resistance when they pull down on the bait like they do with a round bobber. There is no bob to skinny bobbers ( they're really called floats ) they just go straight down under the water without coming up again. I use sizes from 3 to 6 inches long depending. You have to put enough split shot on to balance the float, you don't want to have half of it sticking up out the water, only the tip should be sticking out of the water. Longer floats require more weight and cast farther. You will need some bobber stops or you can just use some heavy thread. Since you are catching bluegills do you set the drag or do you backreel them in? If you haven't tried backreeling, let me say that it's an incredibly fun way to catch fish.
@peterolbrisch8970 ill.try it thanks man!
@bitenbass Does the reel you use let you backreel?
@peterolbrisch8970 yea it does...!!
U wackin em
Thank you
