The 325D MidMount with 72" 4 blade rear discharge mowing deck for exceptional grass disbursement.
725DT FrontMount with 61" rear discharge deck. PowerFold deck lift is fitted as standard for easier cleaning and maintenance.
Also available in 52", 61" side discharge and 72" rear discharge.
Both have a Kuboata 25hp diesel liquid cooled 3 cylinder engine for exceptional durability over the years.

Testing out a clients diesel powered 72" Rear Discharge mower after making an adjustment. The FrontMount deck allows excellent visibility mowing around obstacles and under kiwifuit. No camera stablisation unfortunately!

Do you have to disengage or remove any belts to lift the deck?
No, the deck is powered via a drive shaft.
@ztrmowersnz Thanks for replying. I'm not very familiar with Grasshopper, but I'm looking for a commercial mower and this intrigued me.
@chasmofsar2691 you're welcome. Where are you based? Grasshopper are comfortable well built machines and definitely worth considering. They are one of the original zero turn mowers, made in Kansas since 1969.
@ztrmowersnz I'm in southern Wisconsin, and the last Grasshopper I saw around here was probably 5 years ago. Scag has a very strong presence here, along with a few others. I have been out of landscape maintenance for quite a while but was debating whether to get back into it. I'm hoping to retire from construction sales and get one of my sons started in the LM business within the next couple of years. I appreciate you posting the video.
Can it be transported with the deck in the up position?

This guy doesn't look comfortable mowing with this Grasshopper mower.. He's cramped.. It seems like the seat and controls were designed for a 14 yo mower operator.. This mower is better suited for places with lower labor laws, like Gabon maybe? Or Libya for example.. Even Mali seems like the place where you could employ 10-14 year old workers... That being said the mower destroyed that tall thick grass.. Great job...LOL...

Hi, the 524V-42 is a great model, our customers love it especially the PowerFold deck lift and all the power. We import the Grasshopper mowers into New Zealand and havent seen any problems with the belts. Where are you based?

Hi, no it's not new it's been the standard set up for the narrow cut 124V-41" midmount for many years. Its the only model with a vertical PowerVac.

Yeah an awesome machine, not too big, heaps of power and easy bail out on hills. It can be more comfortable to stand rather than sit down for hours too.

Hi, sorry for the slow reply. It can be for either personal or business use but the Stander concept is most attractive for commercial operators because they can save you a lot of time, effort and space on the trailer. However there is nothing to stop a customer using for the home lawn if they prefer to stand rather than sit and sees the benefit of a simple robust mower that will last.

This the size they started with 44 " 12hp back 70 's more hp
The 44” was only discontinued a few years ago. With 24HP this 42” deck can mow down seriously long grass.
My brother has a very old 42” front deck Grasshopper.
