In your syllabus, just 3 point are there under, Errors and uncertainties 1  understand and explain the effects of systematic errors (including zero errors) and random errors in measurements 2  understand the distinction between precision and accuracy 3  assess the uncertainty in a derived quantity by simple addition of absolute or percentage uncertainties just focus on these points only

not everything that is in extended is in core though everything that is in core is in extended as well. So from the syllabus outline just figure out the topics of core and just do them. save your trouble of going through all of the sylalbus. Best of luck. I hope that helps.
