In recent formats I stopped using Countif so it totally skipped from my mind that I had ever used Countif to highlight the cells. Great that your issue got resolved

@@OfficeFreak I am not skipped it. I am using the formula that =COUNTIF(Holidays, first date of calender) then formatting it into green colour. But not highlighted it. I will try again. If possible please reply with formula please

Throught Countif nothing can be highlighted. Countif is to count the specific Characters

Anything in Excel will be highlighted through Conditional Formatting

If I will not be aware of your Cell references, How can I provide you the exact formula. I asked you to mail me the format but seems you are not comfortable. Only thing I can guide is: Go to Home, Conditional Formatting, Choose a formula to determine which cells to format, =(Cell number <>""), now select color of your choice and do ok
