Exploring a Massive Abandoned Hotel | The Mystery of Its Closure (THEY WERE IN HOW MUCH DEBT!?)
In today's adventure, I stumbled upon a massive, eerie abandoned hotel that I found on Google Maps. I saved this place as "Green A** Pool" for its neglected pool!
As I explored the complex, I uncovered signs of squatters, including milk still in date! The hotel’s eerie silence was pierced by a dark secret: it closed down due to a staggering mountain of debt.
But that’s not all - the deeper I ventured, the more pieces of the puzzle I uncovered, solving the mystery behind its sudden downfall.

What a brilliant find I would have to wear a mask cos of the mould cos now got asthma thanks from having mould at my old place I was living and Council did not want to know that bedroom looked lovely keep this up mate keep them coming

Wow, very cool new video! This hotel sure has seen better days in parts of it, but in other parts, it looks like it ready and waiting for new guests, but after reading customer reviews, this is not advised! Neither is swimming in that Green Ass Pool, nope, no swimming allowed, Yuk! The views from the higher floors are simply Amazing! Great new find and an awesome new explore! 😊

I have seen a few empty houses around here in Norway as well. I can understand keeping them as summer homes, but to me that would entail following up on them as well. One great house that I have lusted after for a long while had everything going for it. Cool style (somewhat English looking), great location (20 metres from the sea), nice little garden. I have seen a car there once, 3 years ago. Two years ago a whole developed in the roof. Nobody has looked after it and I can't find who owns it. As that hole has been left exposed to the element, it has gotten larger and worse. In other words, that house can probably not be saved.

@@GeorgeCarter-yj8bv it’s definitely not as long as most exploring videos but 5 mins seems to work well for me at the min 🤣😭 you get more of a feel through videos of the place rather than just pictures so I do like to document on here! Always happy to share!

Might be Grade listed ? National Trust could step in but only by interest. So many places like this around unfortunately.
@@greywebs1944yes it’s definitely going to be listed as it’s very old and such a stunning building! But I don’t see how that would stop someone renovating to its former glory! With these places you’d wanna keep all the original features! The room sizes are massive so you wouldn’t need to knock any rooms through! Wouldn’t be too bad of a job at the moment but if it’s left for much longer it’s going to fall into decay sadly and cost even more to restore it 😔

Great video Urbecs! Stunning care home! So sad to see it in disrepair, but you did a nice job of exploring & documenting it in it's current state. This place is way too nice to sit & decay. It sure would be nice if it could be remodeled and opened back up as something New! 😊
