What made it super hard in initial d was the 86 having like 69,000 degrees of wheel rotation for not a whole lot of steering angle cause old car and no power steering. So they straight up didn't have enough angle to turn around a corner. I just looked it up, 86s have somewhere around 3 to 3.5 rotations or 1080-1260 degrees of rotation lock to lock (information is a little spotty). When you're taped to the wheel you have about 180 ish degrees of rotation (a little bit more if you don't like having a wrist), so 1/6 or less of your full steering angle. Not ideal for a hairpin. Anyways good driving Chinook, have a great day sir. Edit: I did somethin wrong, when taped up you got 180 to the left and right, so 360. So really you have 1/3 or less of your steering angle to each side. Idk if I'm making sense, my brain is shutting down atm.
