Milk Money Mini Farm
United States
Приєднався 10 січ 2023
We are just a small farm that has just gotten started. Almost everything we have on the farm are small creatures. As of now, we have Pigmy goats, Pigeons, Bantams, a few yard birds, 3 dogs and 1 cat and you never know what else might turn up on the farm. We hope to take you along on our adventure as we grow the farm. Maybe we can teach you a few things and learn a few new things ourselves. Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoy.
I thought the Dam was exploding.
If you've never seen the turbines come on at a Dam before then watch this. It's pretty cool. Gets your heart racing the first time you see it in person.

A very close friend of mine passed away Sept. 2023. A year later I found this video on my laptop while I was working. I had forgotten about this little trip that we took so when I found it a year later ( almost to the day ), I decided that I needed to put it on my channel. I hope you enjoy it. Rest in peace my friend.

I hate it when my snacks come up missing and when I ask about them I always hear the same thing ( I didn't see your name on it ) so I decided to fix that problem. I hope you enjoy the video.

Hi! do i keep the water bottle attached to the incubator like before? I just started my lockdown
@@keishabiko6154 No... you will have to keep a check on the water level and add a little every few days ( I usually add water about once a week ).
@ even for a wet hatch?
@ this is my first time. I didn’t see anything that says keep it nor not to keep it.
@keishabiko6154 what are you talking about keeping?
@@milkmoneyminifarm I have the matrices 30 and there is a water bottle that comes with it that maintains the humidity. Should I keep that attached during lock down?
I measure temperature in the egg trays at about 1.5 degrees lower than the incubator reading. I think this is because the thermometer is at the top within the heat source of the incubator. Do you suggest increasing the temp setting to account for this or just rely on the incubator to do it's thing?
@@kelseymuller7478 I've always left the temperature alone and let it do its thing. I've always had a pretty good hatch rate so far.
I counted like maybe 6 bad ones ?
Thanks for uploading bro appreciate it
No problem. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
@@milkmoneyminifarmbro 2 question I got 32 eggs in mines what’s the humidity need to be at and is it really important ? I’m ready 50-55 I have it at 63 right now I was reading the more u open the less humidity ? And google says 60 is fine
@@MyRcGoSlow I keep mine between 50-55% and I get around a 95-97% hatch rate. You can try 60 and see what happens if you want to try it.
@@milkmoneyminifarm ok I’ma keep between 50-55 but I can’t keep it at that lvl mine going higher instead of lower im at 63 now sorry for all these questions
@@MyRcGoSlow No problem. That's what I'm here for.
Nice. I found you through @The ClarkShack.
Fish fart? That's pretty cool, I have never seen that at a dam before. Greg
@@gregwilsonnaturephotography We have some big fish in there but I hope they aren't that big....lol.
Yeah, that's for sure. I enjoy your channel, lots of great videos. Greg
@@gregwilsonnaturephotography Thanks... I'm trying my best.
Just installed this same one this morning! Waited 5 hours to adjust and set up before adding the eggs! I’m confused on the humidity part as mine don’t show a way to adjust it only by using the vent to open/close! It is staying at 66% and can’t seem to lower it! Is that too high and if so how do Iower it?!
@@tiffanygoad5258 How far is your vent open? You use it to control humidity. Open it all the way up and it should come down. Also make sure that you only use port number 1 ( and don't overfill it ) until lockdown. Fill both ports all of the way when it's time to lockdown.
I guess I accidentally over filled the water when I moved the incubator! I emptied the extra water out and opened the vent all the way up and now it’s down to like 57ish! Thank you much!! This is my first time ever asking for help on here for anything! Love the quick reply!!
@@tiffanygoad5258 No problem. Glad I could help. And don't worry... you will get the hang of it in no time. Just be careful and don't hatch too many... it gets addicting....lol. Have fun.
Haha!! Gosh I sure hope I can hatch some! This was my husband idea so when he gets home in a couple weeks, we should have some hatched babies if I can do it!! Nervous but very excited! 😆
@@tiffanygoad5258 Good deal... I'm always here if you have anymore questions.
Fishing is cool. I would say do video of things you are interested in. Even if you aren't an expert just take what you learn (like tips and best practices) and share it. The best kind of learning is learning from others and sharing what we learn.
@@TheLearningEnthusiast I appreciate the advice.
What should humidity be set on for chicken eggs and how often do you have to add water
Humidity should be somewhere between 50 - 55% Just keep an eye on your water. I usually have to add water every 4 to 5 days. Only put water in port number 1 until you get ready for lockdown, then fill both ports.
what is the voltage rating on this ? 220V by any chance ? thanks
@@karuneshkaimal These are 110v.
@@milkmoneyminifarm just. hatched today , 2 didnt make it , but this video was helpful .
@@karuneshkaimal how many did you try to hatch?

How do I bring down the humidity
Open the valves. The more you open them the less the humidity.

What about shipped hatching eggs? Should they be put in the same way and should you wait awhile before starting them?
Shipping eggs can be put in the same way. I would let them sit on the counter overnight to get to room temperature before I put them in the incubator.

I didn’t know you was going to be on. The audio is fixed from the echoing. I hope that you feel better soon. Did you get the pictures in the email I sent you? You just have to decide on a time and try that. It will take some time I’m sure.
I saw the pics. They look pretty dang good. I was over at Clack's Friday and I was telling him about them.
Thanks everything is a work in progress.
What an interesting idea, my first thought is personalized treats for a party. I might have to try this now.
Yep... it worked pretty good on most of them. No taste difference either.
I can't unhear Alex Jones. I mean no disrespect. Man that is crazy 😳
I bought my incubator 18 month ago and have done several batches of hatches. I am down to the last week for this batch and the unit started to sound off an alarm with beeps and the display is flashing mumbojumbo. I unplugged it, waited for 5 minutes and replugged it in and still beeping with the display flashing junk. I have pressed each button separately and have pressed different pairs and this does not clear it up. Any suggestions?
Unfortunately I can't think of any. It sounds like your thermometer might be going out. Do you have any other thermometers that you can check the temp with? If the temp shows good then the only thing left is the humidity.
@@milkmoneyminifarm thank you for your reply. the unit is not warm and the fan is not running-- so I think that it is not working AT ALL.. I will try putting heating pads over it and under it to keep the eggs warm
@@allypurvis I've gotten a handful of comments about a few of them doing the same thing lately. Not sure what is going on with them.
Very nice idea. I’ll have to give it a try for sure. I bet it would be great for cupcakes to personalize

Like you I’m new to lasers as well as graphic design. Saw you with Clack earlier today. You’re lucky to be able to pick his brain. I do have a question for you. How do you change the names after you’ve written the file?
@@ToOldToDoThis Are you meaning the file name itself or are you wanting to change someone's name in the file to someone else's?
You can right click on the file name and hit rename to change it or if you're wanting to change someone's name when you pull the file back up... you can usually just double click the name and it will put you back into the name. You can change the font, name , letter size or whatever else you want then.

Great video. Not to be over critical here but around the 5 min mark you refer to the calipers as a micrometer. In my opinion, Though they both perform similar precision measurements, they are fundamentally different tools.
