ButterBean's Take On Annealing
Переглядів 2,5 тис.3 роки тому
My thoughts and test results on Brass Annealing
Excellent demonstration of your fireforming process. Your cartridge done your way.
Thank You Sir
Great commentary and explanation of the performance. Keep it up.
Sounds oddly Australian, more of penal colony accent from Van Diemen's land. At first, I was thinking what is this muppet up to, but I like his ingenuity and thinking. I bet you can't show the results and performance of these online. Theres a man who loves his RUM, This method could actually improve Creedmoor performance, but I bet this bloke would go to great lengths to use any 6.5 variant other than a Man Bun Gun.
Ha,hahha , ha. get him to the emergency room about that man bun though.
Good insight
what did I just watch??
@@kellybennett9221 Adding Beeswax to hollow points
Thanks for putting that all together brother Cheers
Awesome 👍
So your reason for crimping was to increase precision/accuracy? I'm having some trouble getting a decent load sorted so was going to try crimping. Just to check your instructions. With ram at the top with cartridge in it, you tighten down the crimp die as far as it will go with 2 fingers, then go 1/8 of a turn further. Is that correct?
Thinking of using the 137 in 30-06. You recommend 3 or 4 drive bands deep?
Seat all of the bands in the case and crimp on the last PDR groove
@@butterbeansbarstool5414 I have 3 crimper dyes for 3 different calibers. All bush bullet in deeper???
@@travissmith-wz5nc You need to crimp in the valley and don’t worry about it pushing the bullet back
Yeah, kinda like when old school cops talked the 6” 357 mag w/a 125 grain bullet. Huge difference from the 4” 38 spcl loads
Very cool! I was pleased to speak with Steve. Looking forward to getting some of those Hammer bullets.
Great video bro, 7stw
Great video and great information
If you need anything just holler
BB thems fighting words from a man with a bun!
Bean really did get his man-bun FOR REAL! Look out for that man-bun that will make you crave Budlight. Next thing you know he will be doing Budlight commercials as a crazy man dressed like woman. LMAO!
LMAO!😂
We all know how much YOU LOVE 6.5 Creedmore 😂
No need for that kind of negativity 😂😂😂
What was the FPS?
3880
WOAH WOW
Bro looks so happy. Bless
I have been blessed, Thank You
U wanna buy sam moonshine
You know it
Whats that at the end of ur barrel? Just curious.
I assume some sort of calibration or tracking tool?
Magneto Speed Bayonet
I’m sitting here chuckling, talk about an infectious smile. Well done.
I really appreciate it
Nice
Thank you Sir
Thanks man. I've seen your name on the forums and it's good to see your face. All the best to you!
Much appreciated!
Ackleyized
It’s more along the lines of beanized 😜😜 Extremely accurate combo even the fireformed rounds I do still extremely accurate just around 300 -400 fps slower Cheers
35 degree shoulder?....5 degree difference from a .260 rem? Why?
36.5 degree shoulder
Personalising a cartridge in the pursuit of perfection.
I'm trying some Ivory in place of the candle wax I usually use. I've got to make some .358's out of .308's. I use the same powder and load you do.
I first seen this posted on the forum and I really like the sounds of it so far and I’m like you with the 6.5 creedmoor I don’t much like it lol. Glad to see you back on here man keep up the good work God bless
Thanks Bud
@@butterbeansbarstool5414 your welcome man no problem
I need no more with the BEANMORE 😊
Would love to see a video about how you made the barrel/chamber for this wildcat cartridge!
@@MADmosche I had nothing to do with it, The “ Pot Stir Mob” came up with the whole setup
@@MADmosche Gday I was one of the pot stir fellas who basically got in over our heads on what ended up becoming a expensive prank But I’m delighted to say it is working extremely well on the north of 20 species so far I’ve used it on Just ticked over 1600 rounds down mine & nearly all on critters from rabbits to asiatic buffalo Yes I love my beanmore but not as much as bean finally squeezing that trigger on his beanmore as that was all of the pot stir mob wanted to see as that was gold like the big fella himself Cheers
Gday brother Oh my how much I have waited till this day ❤ See the 6.5 is pretty cool & you’ll need no more with the beanmore That fireforming stuff is pretty cool thanks for sharing your way For myself I was extremely surprised that I could load up a mild load in the pre formed case & still have a Moa of wallaby to 300 ish yards Looking forward to the rest of your journey Cheers
❤ Mr6.5beanmore you have a wonderful new year with your new toy. God bless.
Butteeeerr beeean ! How yall makin out on LRH ! Thanks for the body die/LCD set up !!
Doing well Bud, I hope all is well with you
Thanks for the video, everyone in the "Hammer community" seem so friendly and helpful, not competitive or secretive. I will be loading my 300 Weatherby with Hammers. Do you recommend 124 grain over something heavier bullet for elk and mule deer? I normally run a bonded 180
I’d run the 124 or the 137 with H4350
@@butterbeansbarstool5414 Thank you, I happen to have 12 pounds of that powder.
@@Wheelchair-bear If you need anything just holler
I will be working with 137’s for my 300 wby with H4350 soon.
The 137 is a a freaking awesome pill, if you need anything just holler@@danjohnston3042
Great video, very common sense!
Thank You
Impact speed is what Roy Weatherby was promoting back in 1943. Hammer bullets are proving he was right.
Hammer isn't proving anything, pretty much what monos paired with overbore magnums like weatherby cartridges is doing is trying to get range by throwing a badminton birdie as fast as possible rather than getting better results from just tossing a rock as in using a smaller more efficient cartridge with a more efficient bullet.
Is this the same butterbean from LRH?
Yes it is
Thanks for taking your time to help others.
It was my pleasure
Do you drop into water after the glow?
No Sir I do not, there is no need
That was a classic!!! Followed it on LRH forum. Great stuff.
Do you have a link to the thread on impact velocity that you mention in the video?
We needmore videos! See what I did there? Just found your channel through a recommendation on LRH. Good stuff!
If hammer bullets do the same thing everytime, why are there so many videos of their erratic performance and changing direction? Including ones posted by hammer and associates, before they were taken down and cropped to conceal those results?
You are wasting your time Neighbor, most everyone knows what you are trying to do
No answer, just dismiss any fault in the subject and deflect, sounds like a politician. What are your opinions on the owner of hammer bullets working with anti hunters who want to ban lead ammunition? What are your opinions of the owner of hammer bullets with his disregard of the rules of firearm safety in the video where he shot into a herd of audad not knowing what was behind his target, killing a second audad and possibly wounding a third?
@@NorthRiverGuide It was a paid hunt, When Steve said I can't see what's behind it the guide told him to go loud, Audad are like coyote's, it was the guides call. End of story
@@butterbeansbarstool5414 interesting how there are so many different versions of the story including this one now which is new. Does steve pay per story for each time a new story is made up every time a flaw is pointed out with the last one? I viewed several different renditions of the story from steve alone!
@@NorthRiverGuide Dude, get a grip
LMAO Hell shoot it
Agree with the conclusion. For monometals it’s all about speeeeeeed! For energy at distance heavy frangible lead cores are where it’s at, not monometals.
I reported the post by lrhg as misinformation. 😂
That's how you try to prove your point right, by trying to silence the opposition? If your stance was correct you wouldnt need to.
Come over to hammertime and talk that shit, you might get an education in reality.
@@NorthRiverGuide 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Give it up
Appreciate the videos - thanks!
I appreciate it in the end I just want to help folks
Seeing that blood pour like a garden hose, my god. You know there's a lot of things that didn't used to be liquid that are now.

Been reloading for some time, and I’m gonna try some of your methods! Keep doing what you’re doing!
really appreciate it
