First of all i Would'nt recommend bringing your car to Juarez for any type of work the quality is poor the material is poor plus they take forever. Plus your taking a chance that your vehicle is going be missing parts.there is shop here in Juárez that does restomods & restration's work is good they take a long time & expensive.paint used to be fair. i don't know about it at the moment paniter is no longer there saw some of his work as freelancer bodywork suck & took a long time plus expensive.forgot to mention they loved to use bondo so if want a lot bondo and Bad prep on your vehicle come on over.

I have a long comment of all the things done wrong, now I am going to harp on WRONG PRODUCT USED. Midnight Bronze product H-294. W R O N G. You should remove the pistons and start over. (Optimized for Laser Imaging. H-294 is optimized for laser imaging applications.) From the tech data sheet Coating Stability (F°) Max. Temp. 500 The V-Series, which is what should have been used is 1800F Of the V series, as of Aug 2024, the only two choices are V-136 and V-139, for pistons and combustion chambers, any other V series is WRONG and will make engine components run HOTTER. There is a 5 day air cure non oven coating C-186, not for me though.

Others have commented, but I also have to add the same comments, this should be a HOW NOT TO video, from start to finish. brand new pistons, lets use ungloved hands and check them out, get oils and acids and debris all on them from our skin. Then, lets choose the wrong CERAKOTE cause we want to use a certain color on other projects so the multi thousand dollar engine project takes a backseat to that selection, color over performance (the cerakote choice in this video is a DEI hire lol). When selecting cerakote for piston tops, use the selection on the bottom left of web page labeled SHOP - COATINGS - (then look bottom left SPECIALIZED ATTRIBUTES - LOW THERMAL EMISSIVITY). There will be only three choices, 2 are oven cured 1 is air cured. These are the ONLY choices for piston and combustion chamber coating. The wrong selection can INCREASE HEAT IN THE PISTON AND HEADS. Improper sandblast material, the correct material is available on amazon. Incorrect sandblast technique, smooth full top to bottom not drill baby drill in one area. Incorrect paint sprayer technique. Go watch how to spray paint somewhere. Failure to weigh components before sandblast, after, and after painting. They should weigh the same and the coating needs to be 1 mil thick (1/32 of a credit card thick) if you took the sprayed coating off 32 piston heads it would be the thickness of one credit card, 1 mil is THIN.

cool build! it need some quad exhaust tips. head lights might look cool with a yellow tint, and maybe a LED pod for the reverse lights. get that thing out on the streets!

The passanger side overhead grab handle is removed by rotating the black plastic clips 90 degrees. They are located on the underside of the headliner and hold the handle clips in

is this meant to be a joke? cerakote is for looks. it is not ceramic. All you did was damage and spray paint the top of your pistons. People do not do this.

This is cool as heck. But buddy that cage is a death trap. Those tubes are crushed on the corners. Won’t give any rigidity what so ever in a crash

Are steel tube cars strong though

it looks great but if you ever do more stuff to it id recommend adding a cross member where the doors are so the car doesnt fold in half in a crash, good build man!
