Not anymore. The HS transfer portal is open for all now. Look at Westside HS. They had 7 transfers this season and they're a monster. Plus It's different in SC, our charter schools aren't getting the best of the best like FL and Cali schools does.

@@q5024 the thing is that these prep schools still offer scholarships and an over all better education especially if you plan on going to college they just have way more they can sell to student vs a public school . And idk know about the Cali and Florida thing . I still think all in all prep schools have an alarming advantage in sports legacy early college in Greenville kills public schools in basketball and I’m talking 5a high schools like Dorman , Byrnes , gaffney . Westside was 5a for the longest time I know recently they’ve went down to 4a but I mean you’re talking about a team that’s become a perennial power house in the upstate the last couple years . I see what your saying but I still think it’s unfair they should compete in there own league regarding a playoff setting

And also when Knotts was at Indy in NC he totally smoked , I mean smoked the pride of Virginia at the time Pheobus High, in a jamboree. I saw it with my own two eyes. His passing attack had Phoebus DBs so flustered they were arguing with each other during every Indy offensive possession. Va has good ball but NC is much better as a whole.

@@mr2x137 the bracket is preset before the season even starts when the two teams are the same seed coming out there regions the bracket pick who is home is who is not which is why we went to gaffney last year and why both jl mann and gaffney came to us this year but people literally said the exact same thing the past two games oh Gaffney bout to do yall in oh jl mann bout to beat the breaks of yall and what happened Dutch Fork proved why the road to a state championship goes through them beat us by 50 they barley beat us by 3 in the regular season
