Thanks for this. I wanted to see game play without all the talking .i have been pondering buying a grandkingdom set for about a year now after my old grandmaster set gave up the ghost. Wanted something that's well made and looks that it should last some time . shame about your camera fading in and out, but it didn't spoil your demo .
Same here. I wanted to get the Square Off Swap first, but I have read from people, that it took months, or even years until they received it. There's also issues with the recognition of moved pieces. Those things seem to work with the Grand Kingdom Set, but from what I have heard, the paint will evaporate after a few years, so that the field becomes somewhat transparent. This might only be for the older version of this set though, so it might still be the best option if you want something with quality. I have tried ordering on the Square Off website, but for some reason it was impossible, so I ordered it on another site. I'm waiting for my set right now, I should receive it within the next two weeks. If you like I can give you another update then.

@@doubler8761 Amazon Germany doesn't have it unfortunately. I have to wait forever for it to get shipped from the US hahaha. Hopefully yours arrives faster.
If your interested I have a few videos of famous games played on my old grandmaster master looking back the first ones were rubbish but the later ones set to music to drown out the mechanism are OK. Want to do the same with the kingdom set once I get it and upgrade the app to subscribion level.
@@doubler8761 Thanks for letting me know, I did not check out the Square Off competitors at all. Now I wonder why you would choose a Square Off Set, if you have the Phantom already, as the Square Off forces you to use their app, amongst other things. Like their false advertising, or that people waited for years to get their Swap, or Neo boards. And they advertise it with "adaptive AI", but you have to pay for a subscription to use it. I kinda want to make a video about those things, amongst others. It is kinda weird that they have so little competition, given their ridiculous pricing and customer support. I just noticed there is a new Phantom Kickstarter, but it also seems overpriced and I bet people will have to wait for years to receive it.
