I came to this video cause I just bought one from best buy that had this remote inside. The directions and manual have no mention written or visual of the remote, so that combined with it being open box made me wonder if someone threw in their remote by mistake. Then I started to wonder if it was even malicious hardware meant to infiltrate my phone upon connection. Glad to see it’s included in a fresh box, but too late as I threw it away when I realized it wasn’t mentioned in the contents and I’m not the type to fuck around 😂

Funny this showed up in my feed, I need to do this. Airbag light, door switch acts werid until I open and shut the rear door, one time the radio wouldn't shut off.

The chime is there to replace the factory sounds when you open the door, blinker, and other sounds that the CANBUS system Chevy used to play through the stereo can now be heard with a new radio. I didn’t install one and …. It was weird without the sounds
