To my knowledge, killing the hag does nothing to the swamp. Swamps are typically just natural environments.

To date Astarion, you need approval 40+ in chapter 1, and you need to be able to bed him in chapter 1, so no taking things slowly. Warlock and bard have many interesting dialogue options. Warlock can remain single class and be effective. Bard needs to be multiclassed to be effective. Rogue, warlock, fighter or paladin are some of the more effective second classes for bard. Dark Urge can be any race and any class, no need to play an ugly lizard ( unless you happen to like them for whatever reason).

At this stage, Astarion is still a spawn, not a full vampire. Spawn cannot propagate. So mortals can let them feed on their blood quite freely. No risk of the donor becoming one of the undead in the process.

Shar (NE) as well if you play as the origin character Shadowheart. Grumsh is a racial deity of orcs and half-orcs. Tiamat is mostly worshipped by dragons, half-dragons and various evil lizardfolk and serpentfolk ( this includes dragonborn). Lolth is a deity worshipped by drow, half-drow, draegloths, chitines, driders, plus araneas and similar spiderkin.
