Pantera Drags Carlsbad Raceway 1987
Team Pantera of Orange County staged its first 1/4 mile drag races at Carlsbad Raceway on August 2, 1987. Great turnout of Panteras from the club. E.J. Poss of Oklahoma was top eliminator unleashing 10 second quarter mile times. The race directors were Dave and Linda Adler, past Presidents of the club. Linda drove Whiplash at the event. The late Frank Gerum and George "Pur Gold" Peloquin were racing. Tom "Iron Man" Allen won the trophy for the most runs made. Great times!
