Meet the Makers at The GreenWood Centre
Did you make it to 'Meet the Makers'? It was a wonderful evening for everyone involved, a chance to showcase some fantastic local talent, demonstrate woodworking skills and kick off the festive season with our community.
This lovely film was made by Kian Sansome, a student filmmaker from Ironbridge, who kindly volunteered his time to capture the event. Enjoy!

I'm all out of beeswax and lavender oil for some reason. Can I get it at the 7-11?
Great step by step instructions. Really enjoyed that you expanded into other baskets which you have made!
This was great, but I'm going to deduct points for a lack of explosions. 9/10.
Thank you❤
Need to open video up and more sound, yes I did enjoy content
I LOVE this! I had no idea that English Ivy contains saponins... So, I will be looking to find out if it grows here in Wyoming, USA. One point you made that is worrying - mentioning your "carbon footprint"... Perhaps you're trying to attract and retain as many different viewers as you can, but being a Geoscientist, I have studied the so-called "man-created" climate change narrative and it's a complete scam and lies. So, whatever anyone's "carbon footprint" is, is utterly immaterial. Actually, the opposite - as plants REQUIRE CO2 in the atmosphere, and cannot photosynthesize without a minimum threshold concentration, below which they cannot live. So, we actually need MORE CO2 in the atmosphere, not less. Thanks for the great information!
Looks good. I like to burnish my utensils 😊 Thanks and take care. 😊
💚✨
Is oleander wood suitable for making things with or carving, or is it toxic that nothing can be made from it?
hyfryd!~lovely!~álainn

What if they're by the lakeshore?
I use dried daisy flowers in tea mixes. I didn't know they are good for bruises so thank you!
Back in the early 1950’s, my mother told us about this plant. We went barefoot all summer. I can remember using plantain, and potato ( as potato has iodine with the molecular structure), on wounds.
Great, thankyou!💖
When I water bath mine I fold a dish rag on bottom of pan and then sit my bowl on that , keeps from having excess heat on your oils . And destroying the herbs in it .
Keeps the jar from breaking.
I miss hills outside my house, western Australian is so flat

@@lsrain I miss Scotland hills and green
Can you make this with just the heal all? I don’t have the plantain leaves

Did any bees use it? How can they find the entrance to start with- does it need a way-in sign post?!
Early spring queens fly around investigating every kind of holes that could be interesting. They often use old abandoned mouse nest, so some smell of mouse urine will get their intention.
😀Thank you !

I have really found being in Nature to be beneficial to my well-being. Just walking, and sitting, in the local park is a good stress buster for me.
