Grilling Costco's Arrachera on a Weber Q! (RYC Marinated Skirt Steak!)
The RYC Arrachera at Costco is a marinated skirt steak that is easy to cook and absolutely delicious.
All you need to do is set your gas grill to high and grill the steak for about five minutes per side to an internal temperature of 165F. Normally 165F is considered overcooked for steaks but this thing has been injected with so much marinade that it still stays tender and juicy.
Make sure you slice this steak against the grain and you will be in for a treat!
Seriously, give the RYC Arrachera from Costco a try and I think you will be happy!

Z Grills Review - Three Years of Living with the ZPG 1002!

This is a quick Z Grills Review that shows you what one of these grills looks like after three years of use. I wondered how this grill would hold up considering that it was so much cheaper than a Traeger. Overall the grill is in wonderful shape. There is a little bit of rust under the handle and there are obvious scratches and scuffs. Other than that the Z Grills still works perfectly. The auge...

    I have the Q1200 and agree that it's too small for more than 4 people. I remedied that by buying the Q2200, too. Having both is great! I can be grilling steaks, chops or chicken on the Q2200 while grilling potato slices, hot dogs or burgers on the Q1200. If I'm grilling for just my wife and I, I use just the Q1200. If we're having guests, I use both grills. I even picked up a second Q1200 on CList that was like new for $50 along with a one piece, full sized griddle for it. It's great for cooking breakfast on when we go camping. Both of my Q1200s have the old style one piece grills. They're a lot easier to use than the 2 piece ones that are on the newer units.

    The Pellet Adapter is genius for finally getting the kettle fuel (and ash!) outside the kettle. I got the Venom charcoal blower unit and I like it for what it does, but I still have to get rid of charcoal ash during a longer cook, and that charcoal pile inside the kettle will always eliminate 25% or more usable grill space. I wager the Pellet Adapter would enable cooking up to three 9-lb pork shoulders at the same time (if it can handle all the grease) whereas with the Venom I'm pretty much limited to two 7 lb pork shoulders, or two whole chickens.

    I have a 1200 that is on its 3rd regulator. First 2 were weber the 3rd one i got off of amazon. It seems to be working good. Do not buy weber one they are no good. I will never buy another Weber 1200.

    • @duanes3354
      @duanes3354 Місяць тому

      I was having trouble with mine not getting hot and thought it was the regulator. I discovered I was just opening the valve on the tank too fast. If you open the tank valve too fast it triggers a safety feature that reduces the gas flow to only about 15-20%. It would light but not get hot. Now I open the tank valve first, very slowly. Then I open the grill's valve. I haven't had any regulator issues since I learned this.

    • @billmellinger1134
      @billmellinger1134 Місяць тому

      @duanes3354 I had that problem also. I would also wait a few minutes before lighting after opening valve slowly.

    ok, smoker... would recommend other brands especially for Customer Experience. I had paint bubbles shrugged off by Z Grills customer service, leaking grease from poor seam welds, and the temperature can fluctuate 20 plus degrees from selected temp and external temp probes. Customer service pushed my concerns with so many "try this" or "see if it continues, when you...." finally the warranty ran out and that was the last excuse they needed.

    I have this very same smoker. The previous owner did not have a clue on how to operate it and had issues on the very first smoke to and include Auger not working due to Jamming issues. I Knew better and purchased the unit (Used Once) at a reduced rate. Long story short I fixed the issues that was due to improper assembly and Pellet jams due to wet pellets in the auger tube that was compressed like concrete. Two years later not one issue as I properly clean and maintain it after every use.

    Other than the ash and the power button all the problems have a simple fix. Don’t like the hand guard in the hopper? Take it off. Take a oil filter wrench or pipe wrench to the ash catch and put blue locktite on the bolt threads for the legs and they’ll never fall off again.
