If you're curious enough, the reason Vergilius does this is pretty spot on if you read the prequel to Limbus Company's story "Leviathan"

Oh right, fun fact: those peccatulae in the Vergilius encounter infinitely respawn after you kill the initial three. You have to either survive an insane amount of time or reach a certain trigger (enough deaths or enough damage taken by your entire team) for reinforcements to arrive, as far as I'm aware.

It's not quite the ultimate Peccatulum Irae. It should be the equivalent of HE class (not entirely clear as we did not yet get that reclassification of threat levels). We've had three levels of Peccatulum Irae, and the first level was originally classified as ZAYIN while the second was, if I recall correctly (not super sure) classified as TETH initially. There might just be two even more powerful Irae evolutions out there.

When I get to 6-34 first loading screen I get next was Carmen jumpscare, and literally was like: “WTF you doing here?” I guess I should’ve watched/played Library of Ruina…

This fight actuallt was a lot worse pre-nerf (mainly the unclashable and counter had 2 base power instead of 1, increasing their damage by a lot)

If you listen closely to the song, you'll hear Heathcliff speak: "I don't know... Catherine..."

Fun fact: The voice actor for our LCB Heathcliff (Hong Seung Hyo) is also the VA for "Heathcliff?"

I've been watching since Ricardo. I'm currently watching your playthrough of Ruina while I eagerly wait for your next upload. Seeing you play through the Pmoon games is really enjoyable, and it's super interesting seeing you overcome the challenges that these boss fights give. Just remember when things look rough, you beat day 49 for LobCorp, you can beat anything.

Fun fact: after clearing the previous stage, there's 4 or so different Carmen related images filled with static that are randomly added to the pool of loading screen images after beating the stage. There's also mutliple non-Carmen images, so its a matter of RNG whether you see them. Continuing the story will replace the image pool again, but for those players who beat 6-34 when it first came out, well... It was the final stage of part 2, so players had to wait a week to continue the story, and would thus frequently get Carmen-jumpscared while doing other things like Mirror Dungeon and Luxcavation throughout the week. Iirc, last episode you saw one of those loading screen jumpscares yourself. It was a picture of a certain blood filled bathtub, though you seemed too exhausted/preoccupied with contemplating what just happened to notice.

fun fact: human enemies don't have sin resistances, they are all set to 1x. however, dead rabbits have sin affinities

Interesting moment: For the entire fight our Heathcliff whips when hitting other Heathcliff. Dude not only full of wrath, but also on the verge of tears. I’m saying this only because I was playing on Wild Hunt and Heathcliff still was whipping. Also, based on how much more power have the opposing skill, when clash is lost, the loser gets pushed back a bit, and as you may have noticed after stack power ups other Heathcliff literally flying away after every loss

You’re gonna love the fight after this Side note: the reaved lamenter’s theme is one of the best in the whole game
