To Love a Canine Rescue, Inc. (TLC) was founded in 2013 and is a non-profit, all-breed, foster-based rescue located in suburban Philadelphia. Our mission is to rescue and find permanent homes for abandoned, stray and surrendered dogs. Rather than being housed in stressful shelter environments, our dogs live in the homes of volunteers where they thrive on attention and love. Our dedicated foster families interact with the dogs to learn their strengths and to understand their challenges. Adding a new member to your family is a lifelong commitment. TLC will work with adoptive families to ensure a smooth transition and help facilitate additional support that may be needed to maintain a happy forever home for everyone. TLC is designated as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS. Donations made to TLC are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.

What is important is to question the use of pet microchips. Pet microchips cause them pain, illness and exploitation. Fewer than 10% of lost pets with microchips are ever recovered by their chip. Adverse reactions are recorded at 1 in 1,000 implants, including chip failure, migration, abnormal mass and tumor formation, rejection, infection and death.
