Lambert's Castle -But it doesn't quite go to plan!

It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Pop over to Lamber's Castle, take some nice Autumnal video, stretch your legs etc.
But what we hadn't bargained for was (a) how fierce the wind would be. So fierce that it was blowing me about whenever I attempted to shoot any video, and (b) Karen's nemesis, the cow! To be fair, one of them, a large one with impressive horns, was giving us evils, so we had to find another way around. It seemed quite agitated by a dog that was running loose, and we didn't want to be on the receiving end of an angry cow's horns.
So, all in all, not the end product I was hoping for, but the scenes over Dorset are always worth seeing and there was still a little heat in the sun... when you could avoid being blown away by an artic blast!

Just a few clips I shot in India in 2016. Apologies for the quality, but I was using my 'ordinary' camera, nothing fancy, and long before the days of using a GoPro or a Pocket 3, or even a half-decent mobile phone to shoot any footage. We decided to take a stroll through the Golden Cap Estate, from Langdon Hill up the Cap itself with its spectacular views over the coast. It is arguably the highest point along the South Coast of England at 191 metres. It belongs to the National Trust and has a large carpark at Langdon Hill which is where we set off from. Another stroll around Hooke Wood, Hooke, Nr Beaminster, Dorset. This video was shot deeper into the woods as the weather was glorious and a longer stroll seemed an attractive option. A walk from Bridport Football Club down to West Bay along the 'country lanes'. It is about a 2 and a half to 3 mile round trip from the club to the seafront and back again, but as it's all on the level, it's quite an easy stroll. Some blue sky, some warm sun, some birds singing; what's not to like? Filmed on IPhone 13. July 2024.

Taking advantage of a sunny day and the warm weather, we thought we would take a stroll through Hooke Wood, near Beaminster in Dorset. Lots of beautiful trees and the last few bluebells, clinging on to their fragile existence, and reluctant to vanish until next year.
