I couldn't seem to find a properly extended version of HOI4's Säkkijärven Polkka, so I felt that I had to do it myself. It's been months at this point, goddammit!!! The first time I played Hearts of Iron I played as Finland and it was crazy. In 1945 the Soviet Union didn't bother covering my section of the front, so I just took a bunch of motorized divisions and made a beeline unopposed straight to Moscow. Hello random stranger on the internet. You have absolutely no idea what this comment has done to me. I am hyper fixated on the winter war currently, to the point where it is distracting me from doing work I need to do at points, scrolling reddit for info on it. However, SOMEHOW, I never noticed that it was also called the FIRST soviet-finnish war... Your comment has opened this up for me again, right as I was trying to do my essay... I visibly went ARRGH when I realized out loud that the continuation war existed and I was going to have to go down the rabbit hole AGAIN soon enough
