Flying 1 Pax on ATC-Day SZB-LGK Flight #J8516 (Capt: Fauwaz / FO: JFK)
We were fortunate to be only flying ONE passenger from Subang to Langkawi, so our a/c performance parameters were greatly increased. Not to mention a fun time by the cabin crew trying to just serve ONE passenger :) Because its the weekend, air traffic was also a tad bit more relaxed as there was very little traffic flying around the skies. Because it is also a special day, its AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL day worldwide, I dedicate this video to them and their great work they do for us especially for the Malaysian Air Traffic Controllers--- you guys rock! I made sure I wished every single controller I spoke to today, "Happy ATC Day!". Also because we were only flying ONE passenger, I made the announcement a tad bit more personal. Instead of Ladies & Gentleman, I just went straight to get the name and addressed her accordingly :) Was a fun flight! Must say that the winds were gusting from the right (full crosswind) up to 15kts so had my work cut out for me as well. Its designed for such an activity. Google what Go-Pro's are for and what they do. Their are also tons of Go-Pro's taken from cockpits around the world, to help share with regular non-pilots/aviators our experiences, also to help educate & inspire future aviators or aviation industry leaders.

The last GoPro I did for UA-cam was in Cairns, and during the night. So thought of switching it up lah. This time around, I ran it on my flight from SZB - PEN. Scored a 1.17G landing too. Good views around the island. Enjoy the video!

Married is right. Pitch trim for the elevators to get a more nose down attitude when the flaps were deployed, reducing the force on the yoke. Was being bounce around due crosswinds! Phew
