Best ever!
Shelley was a kind soul, wish I had the opportunity to meet her in person❤🙏
She was amazing person and actress. Even her look is unique. Beautiful.
Too good for this world, unfortunately.
She was very underrated.
It floors me that Altman knew Shelley could act just by meeting her. I mean not just act but seriously act. She's was truly unique and lovable.
Bob Altman appreciated her beauty and recognized the star in Shelley ❤ She was his muse for sure. I like to think that her wonderful experiences with him helped her when she was working with Stanley Kubrick
The most beautiful woman in the world 😭❤️
Altman was such a gift in her life
When i first saw Popeye i thought that was the most amazing thing bringing a cartoon to life. That last scene on here is something else. Goodbye as well beautiful lady. No more pain.
RIP
God, you really have to contemplate the relationship between Shelley and Altman. It's right up there with Hitchcock and Stewart.
I'm so grateful they found each other (or, Altman found Shelley). Some really great cinema came from them working together.
She was his muse ❤ He truly appreciated and recognized her talent and beauty
Scorsese and DeNiro.
‘Punch Drunk Love’ movie
RIP Shelley Duvall
Robert Altman is my favorite Director,he was willing to take chances in filmmaking, alot of his films were so bizarre & eccentric,he was definitely different,i can tell alot of these current filmmakers were influenced by his work
It's been a long time since I've cried over an actor dying, but I'm crying right now, RIP Shelley, you were so gifted and amazing and beautiful. One of a kind.Thank you.
RIP Shelley Duvall ⭐⭐.
Thanks for this great video!
Dans un temps où j'étais à Paris sur les boulevards. J'avais acheté le 33 tours au drugstore opéra et si je m'abuse c'était fin 69 ou bien en 70. Un disque presque inaperçu mais restant une perle de ces années là.
I’ve been looking for this for years. Thanks
😐
映画で使われた、というので探してここにたどり着きましたが…………あの、歌詞は後づけだったのかな。 そういう映画じゃないみたいだ
Great view, would love to stand there after all these years and take it all in
Had this tune in my brain for 45 years. Always thought it was Paul's best virtually undiscovered song. Searched the Shampoo soundtrack and never realized that Silent Eyes was in all of our Simon collections. Never really "discovered" that version hiding in plain sight as a gem on the Still Crazy album. Now, this unexpurgated version replete with more George Martinish strings. No idea who arranged this. Almost 50 years to finally hear this version in its entirety. Fitting picture of Warren staring into the abyss.....
The best Jack Warden...R.i.p.
Love her xxx
Idk why but I feel like the character Cassy from skins might have taken some inspirations miss Shelley Duvall’s characters
Love this song .....in 2023. I was only 7 years old when this film came out in 1975.❤. It's so ... melancholy.
same age, agree
She so gorgeous. What a beautiful lady!
From two members of Alpes with a different singer.
what movie is this with that Bruster kid ?
I think you’re talking about Brewster McCloud, directed by Robert Altman, 1970, her first movie.
Awesome tribute. Shelly has been a wonderful inspiration. What a wonderful human
5:05, 5:34, 5:13 Where does it from? It didn't searching. Help please.
ua-cam.com/video/KreP9gicylk/v-deo.html&ab_channel=grimmlifecollective She's coming back in a classic horror flick! - "The Forest Hills" This is most recent interview and the people were so kind to her, told her everything we all wanted to. I'm coming back to this video as even though she's older now, you can see how youthful her mind is. The same speech patterns and mannerisms that she has in this video's interview parts, she displayed also in the recent one. Just touches my heart really. Excited to see her in a new movie :)
Loved her in Three Women. She was brilliant and so versatile. I will now see all her films as she brings a sense of peace and bewilderment.
Too.genuine for Hollywood. Never HaD her due respect
I love Shelley. I feel like she came from the past. She could be a movie star from the 1930s and 1940s. Her soft and sweet demeanor and her unique beauty. There's nobody like her.
And she calls my name
Shelley Duvall - The Living Legend!! 😊👍🖖👌✊👊🍁♈🍁
❤️
She was really something something.....
A lot of things were wrong with this film (Popeye) --- but not a./second./ of her.
The emptiness of his life in a song
A lot better than the one with words
Absolutely. This song is a "MOOD." No words needed.
❤️
This poor girl has been through so much, she seems like such a adorable, lovely Person, i really hope she gets all the help she needs and deserves.
I do love the words...but this version is perfect. Thanks for posting this final shot from the film Shampoo. Lyrics: Silent eyes Watching Jerusalem Make her bed of stones Silent eyes No one will comfort her Jerusalem Weeps alone She is sorrow, sorrow She burns like a flame And she calls my name Silent eyes Burning in the desert sun Halfway to Jerusalem And we shall all be called as witnesses Each and everyone To stand before the eyes of God And speak what was done
Hello I'm Shelley Duvall. 😊
Fuck Stanley Kubrick. All my homies hate Stanley Kubrick 😡
Amazing talented actress miss her ❤😢
I loved this in the film.
