i’ve owned stella for 3 years now. she is my first ever horse and my forever heart horse. she came to me as a western pleasure horse and she now jumps. we show in the 2’3-2’6 equitation and do the derbys. she has taken me so far and has made me a very confident rider. she’s the sweetest in the barn and isnt scared of anything!! i literally don’t deserve her!!

What does it mean when horses stretch their heads down like that when you ride?
@@RookieEquestrian it helps to stretch their necks all the way down to there butt bone. it’s a great exercise to give ur horse a better top line!! they don’t have to stretch every ride but it’s good to do a couple times a week.

getting confidence over bigger jumps to hopefully do the 3’3” medals on ellie girl next year🤞🏽 this lesson we did some insane eq courses with rollbacks and trot jumps! also, don’t mind my huntery eq lol. i’m doing tons of eq lessons to bring my shoulders back and my head up. i have a rlly bad habit of leaning over on ellie when i ask her to bring her head down. i just can’t wait for the future with this incredibly talented horse!🩷

@@Horse-20 just try to keep use ur core and squeeze with ur leg. something u can do to make both of those muscles stronger is doing to sitting trot with no stirrups. hope this helps🩷
