I pretty much have the same issue. Just the rear diff. When going forward only the front wheels turn. But when going backwards the rear and front wheels turn. I have to take the diff apart too. Maybe i can fix it like you did.

Hi John! I have the WLtoys 124008 and as far as I can see from your video it looks like the Rlaarlo AM-X12 shell/body is identical in shape to the 124008. Is there any way you can confirm this before I start ordering a x12 shell? Or do you only have the 124017 to test with? 🤙🏼

You should be able to achive a DRS effect using channel mixing on the Transmitter if they offer it. You would just combine ch2 and ch5 to make the wing go flat when you go full throttle and up when you apply the brakes. I'm waiting for my AK787 to come in the mail and when I have mine built I will test it out.

I have a I charger 485 dou charger and it’s great. But I needed another charger for my son and his cars when we race together once a month ( rarely). This charger the more I use it the more confident I’m getting using it for my 1/8 buggie ( 2S 6400) while I use the junsi dou486 for the 2S 9600 for the Truggy. It’s small powerful,ez to use. The Junsi was 350$ the gens ace is 150 $. Very nice for the price and size. When your jammed for pit space,it’s a lifesaver

I'd like to disagree with you about the stock shocks. I've done the same with the stock shock of 12428, I placed 2 o-rings in between the spacer at the bottom cap then filled the can with MP Grease flat to the top the put loctite around the top threads to avoid leaking and it miraculously worked well. Overall, nice video!

The chassis on 12402, 104009, 104019 etc is a very weak point. If they made a better chassis, those models could be the most popular. I've been driving the steel chassis reinforcement since day one and have had no problems so far. I also have a plan to replace the metal arms with plastic ones.

I'm a newb sooo don't mind if this is a dumb question....but before I used white lithium it seemed like my car rolled when i pushed it way smoother. Now when I push it the gears still mesh and everything but it does not travel as far and seems to have a lot of resistance. That's normal? Or no?

Upgrades for bling and not performance is not for everyone...i am sure there are oil filled shocks sold somewhere that will fit this...maybe mini z sells oil filled shock upgrades that can be fitted...

Hi there! I had plenty of issues with those little animals... I switched to metal differential and it fiexd it (took me 3 different models to get the right one but now it runs smooth). I'm now having tha sh*t sound on a 16101...will swpa the plastic diff for metal one and we'll see. Good day!
