If you bought that option. You could also option a 400 dollar comfort box in the trunk. (boot) Almost everything was an option on the W212. Even EBS... Emergency Brake System (assist] was a damn option.

@@Chris-Cars-n-Fun No it does not. By power trunk, you mean the "OPTION" paid package for a power trunk and locking the doors from the trunk. You don't own the vehicle. I own three iterations of the E model from 2014 to 2021. From base to AMG. (S) If you want me to tell you thr full options list and packages, I can and the original MSRP costs of each.

@@Geo-re4jt I have 2 E350s 2014 and 2019 with an E63S 2021. All money pits. The real everyday car is my Lexus ES350 and RX350. Lexus builds much better vehicles. (They don't look as nice but, soak up bumps, never go wrong and are built like tanks in Japan. I only buy Mercedes built in Germany <Mostly Stuttgart> and naturally aspirated. [Can't naturally aspirated an E63S] The Mercedes are for enjoyment and require bags of money for repairs and even slight maintenance. Then when the airbag modules go and engine components with plastic now, good luck. I can treat my Lexuses (plural) like shit and they never have a problem. Toyota (Toyota) usually builds great vehicles. Lately, they have been dragging their asses, like the USA has for the last 80 years. I was referring to the mods and options and not an OEM E350. I did remove my wheel and front badges for the black modern ones over the blue. The unprotected wood interior is still in good condition. Lawsuit over UV protection. I replaced all the incandescent bulbs with LEDs as well. About 20 bulbs. The backseat rear interior light was a bitch. I also updated the GPS to the 2020 version. The last update one could do. Took about an hour and a 150 dollar usb. You must do door know inside as well. Cheap plastic crap was replaced by carbon fiber ones. I added a video 4K rearview mirror as well. The interior one on the W212 is too dark at night due to auto dimming. The W212 varies. You can put 20K dollars of options in a base E350. Even infrared night vision and massage seats. I don't know what dealer would sell a car with removed rear badging.

2014 E class is N/A, post face lift, made in Germany and very reliable. My 2016 is soooo solid

@8MunchenBayern8 It's very reliable on the two I own now. Thank you for stating this. The airbags, wood grain and MB TEX seats ripping are not it's strong suit. Wood grain UV has a lawsuit, airbags tend to malfunction due to passenger under seat module (means all airbags don't function) and hopefully you get a seat fix, if you have MB Tex, as they will always rip. (I had it fixed by a dealership.) Mechanically, like all cars, you must maintain the vehicle. (Tires, proper oil, oil filters, air filters, spark plugs and the transmission late life maintenance. All somewhat expensive proportionally to most other vehicles. If nothing goes "wrong", it's still double the cost of most vehicles to maintain. My 2019 AMG E63 S is another category.
