Bro pretending like he doesn’t know that’s sick progress for sympathy, absolutely shameless
@Isaac-qu3wl LOL chillll it’s a soft 7 😂
This is hard, but im sorry this is not a V7. Your route setters are cracked or something man
gonna agree w u on that one
it took me 10 to get to 7 nice work
yooo nice
Insanely impressive. Good shit bro
thank u thank u
Got my first v8 in 4 months! Keep up the good work!!
that’s insanely fast! thanks and u too 💪💪
This route is V5 at most
actually it was regraded as a v4
Nice I recommend doing that dyno multiple times so it cements itself in your memory in case it comes up again
Took me only like 7 months to climb 7 but I was climbing like 4 time a week
@@headmanp yooo keep it up man 💪
bro did ethan so dirty
If you care about your reputation you'd change the thumbnail
whats wrong with the thumbnail?
@NicoClimbing are you dense? You had magnus on the thumbnail without him actually being in the video. People don't like being bait and switched. You've obviously changed the thumbnail now so I assume you've learned your lesson.
Its engagment bait, more comments= more views due to the algorythm. If we want this to do poorly we shouldn't comment, me included. In the future just dislike and stop watching.@@thattoxicguy35
@@thattoxicguy35 wah wah its youtube not like every other channel does it
@@jetask9956 Maybe have some self respect and strive to watch creators with some integrity? Just cause other people do it doesn't mean we shouldn't call it out and mindlessly consume slop. If you're okay watching mediocre content that doesn't mean other people are.
The video was fine but the clickbait sucks really bad.
yo why is everyone commenting clickbait ⁉️
Downvoted due to clickbait thumbnail. No Magnus in the video.
@@tin945 maybe one day he’ll let me collab with him 🥲
Thank you, I stopped as soon as I read that and downvoted as well
haha must watch till the end
that last dudes reaction haha
@@Maaario. bro is too nonchalant 😭
W content bro keep it up
@@saenu- thank u!
V4 in my gym ^^ just joking (the envy of a 40+ climber speaking)... and yes v0 to v7 in 9month is pretty great. I am around V5 level after ~3years... but a younger friend of mine in his 30s climbed V5 on his first day. A good base fitness, core-strenght, low-weight can help tons with progression on lower grades. well done nevertheless.
@@florianneumann9441 haha thank you!
Everyone chill till the 162 came in 😂
I dnt have a problem with people being this ambitious :) I myself am projecting a v12 despite only having done a single v10. I also did a day outdoors trying some moves of a v14 as well. Just shows some self belief in your climbing and that's a great thing!
LETS GOO
grade is just a number
Yep been having way more fun trying out literally any problem at the gym instead of sticking to “my grade”
Hey! I'm a fellow Philly area climber and thought I'd ask for some help. I'm currently a V5 climber in the past 2 months I've destroyed multiple V5s and now trying to project a V7 at my gym. I'm really struggling with it. What did you do to get better? All of my progress has happened over a year since I started last year in October. I train at home doing core, forearm, and bicep excerices. I hangboard on and off, definitely not as much I should. Maybe a video idea? Training regime or practices that you followed? (Also new sub man I love this style)
yeah I think id love to make a video on this soon. off the top of my head, one thing that helped me is going to the gym regularly, and counterintuitively try to prioritizing push muscles. we already exhaust our pull muscles alot during climbing, so its nice to balance it out by hitting chest and shoulders. also losing weight helps haha. definetly keep hangboarding. ima try to make a more comprehensive list of tips at some point, thanks for the video idea! and thanks for the support 😁
weighted pull-ups or pull-ups (progressive-overload), train with a crimp block (progressive-overload), do push at least once a week, keep doing core, tryhard when u climb, climb every other day so ur always fresh, keep projecting (work all the moves 1-by-1 and eventually they’ll feel ez enough to link up), sleep and dont eat too bad GL sending V7s!
I was doing V4 at the start and projected a V8, I did it after two months, 2 months and 1 week to be exact, and I did it clean at the end ! :D
good work! persistence pays off 💪
Shout out tufas. Moved away and I miss it.
theyve got the best sets fr
I just want to tell you something. If you are a V4 climber and you send a V7, that is not a V7. I am a V6 climber, which means, I do climb most but not all the V6 (sometimes in a few sessions), almost all the V5, usually in a few tries, and I do flash almost all the V4, with some exceptions. But I do not climb V7. Potentially I could climb a V7, if that V7 would really fit my style, but so far, the only I climbed was then downgraded. Probably a very hard V6, but still not a V7. So, if you usually climb V4, as your max grade, then you cannot climb V7. You just can't.
thats just stupid to say
this is the correct answer
either that, or nico is just saying he's a V4 climber but he can definitely send V5 or even V6 consistently
@@ishanthosani i mean by definition then he isn't a v4 climber, which goes back to what the original poster was saying
Completely untrue. Toby Segar a world class parkour athlete has sent Rainbow Rocket V11. He definitely does not send V11 or even V10 outdoors or indoors but him sending Rainbow Rocket despite that does not mean it is not a V11 climb. There are climbs that will be in some peoples styles more than others. A person sending a climb of higher grade that caters towards their style does not mean the climb is graded incorrectly. It just means it was easier for them to send.
love tufas. little less soft than movement
yes i love their comp style climbs
Nice progression man, though I would say you gotta climb at least 5 v8s to say you're a v8 climber. Also did you actually start from v0?
@@panda_rc thanks! yeah i would consider myself a v6 climber atm, def not a full v8 climber yet. and i started off climbing v1s and struggling on v2s haha
what are you using to record?
@@sherbrtz3476 just my iphone and a tripod
love tufas <3
@@uuzu7499 frrr i need to go more often
Try grabbing the undercling first, getting your left foot on the jug and smearing the crap out of the volume that has the blue hold near the start. Then just compress super hard. That is how I would do it
@@Blue_Napalm i’ll try this my next session, i’ll lyk how it goes 🫡
someone please tell me the beta 😓
I'm guessing the spot where you got stuck moving right off that first volume, looks like you're supposed to spread eagle your legs and put your right leg on the starting jug. Then you have two good feet to go with that rough undercling. I'm gonna guess this gets graded V5-V6. I think with that right leg move you'd find that part ez. That starting dyno is far but they give you 2 giant jugs.
@ yeah i figured that’s the beta, definitely a stretch to spread eagle lol but definitely doable
Every so often

Appears to just be a simple jug ladder. I'd call that maybe v1 in my gym. Cool video though
