I did an experiment last night and it seems it’s not a delay, but a «finished in» function. So the the number you are setting, for example 8 hours, includes 5 hours of delay and a 3 hour wash. This was for my Bosh Serie 6 VarioPerfect.

A delayed start to me means the machine switches on when it needs to... What actually happens is you turn on your machine it's lit up like a Christmas tree for twelve hours or more using electricity then does its programme... A bit daft to say the least 🤦

This is straight up deceptive marketing and lying. Even in their manual they say cleaning has to be done via soap and a cloth. Plus I’ve been using it for months now and it absolutely does not have the “aUtOrEgEnErATiVe” bs. Lie they keep spouting. Never buying a Bosch product ever again

When the delay start is on why doesn't the screen dim or go off to save electricity?

So the video says it's a delayed start; but is it actually a delayed finish? Why minimun 3h delay start? I wanna start in an hour..?

Got HBG oven with these panels. Unfortunately this technology doesnt work - all my panels are dirty and covered by spots of burned fat, even after ecoclean procedure.

Remember after setting the delayed finish to press start. On my series 4 once you press start the start pause stops flashing...the machine "clunks" and a timer icon appears.

What Torx driver is required?

is this technology safe for health? I mean since it is working durinh cooking and as I read it releases particles that consume dilute greese and fat.. are those end up in food?

Can you use the normal baking rack (that came with the oven) with these? I just bought a HR1622, the bottom rack slides great, the top to barely slide at all…;(

That's all well and good, but you try taking the aerator off with all the grim in it, when it actually needs cleaning, not when it's nice and clean. You certainly won't be using just the tip of your fingers!

SOLUTION : For issue with Bosch HIIP054C - Induction Range Oven PROBE Issues!!! To solve the issue : 
 1. Turn Off the breaker of your Oven 2. Wait 30 minutes 3. Test with : Bake 250 4. Activate on the console the Probe 5. It ask to insert the Probe... SLOWLY insert it until it Recognize it... Do nor insert it fully at first! 6. when the Probe is Detected... 7. Try to insert it fully 
 It works for me ... may be you can give it a try, know knows, may it could solve your issue!

Thanks so much! I was confused in the manual instructions. First time i used the cleaning function, set it up for 2 hours. Inwas amazed on how the dried oil/fats and other burns turned to ash! Amazing! Less work for me! Bosch is awesome! 😀😀😀😀
