She's a child, not a robot to be programmed. She needs to play with her friends and laugh and have fun, in between studying and homework. I did feel the mom, Melissa, put too much prioritisation on her work, even though what she does is admirable, there has to be a balance for the sake of the family.

I am allergic to sulfites, sulphur and I have an intolerance to milk. Trust me it isn’t funny being allergic especially for sulfites which is a preservative.

I’m 72 & had a child n nursery that’s allergic to peanuts, I still remember Hunter with that allergy. It’s been over 25 years ago & I still remember as if it was yesterday. My 50 year old son has asthma & is allergic to things like, mold, mildew, pet hair household dust & several other things. My family & friends understood this & never had any problems. Never was allergic to any foods. I’m a diabetic & look at labels for the sugar levels. Being allergic to foods,etc is a reality for some people & their friends & family should not take it lightly.

Oh fot crying out loud, for a peanut allergy you only have to avoid them. There is no need for allergy classes. So dumb😊

I’m a 77 year old woman and I have had allergies my whole life and even now I have to match sure what’s in my food. I have had family members that never believed I had allergies until they gave me food that has something from my allergies in it then watch for my reaction not funny let me tell you

Mentally derange grandfathr. He should see a psychiatrist. I couldn't see the point of the visit to the house when he was under house arrest, apart from Hannah's powerful statement. It didn't achieve much where granpa was concerned. Good story.

I want to know also. It's obvious a Japanese story, using American and Japanese parts to the story. I'm guessing siza is a form of punishment. It's sad,especially for young children so cruel, and I'm sure, painful sitting like that for several hours. It's a shame theses forms of punishment aren't considered as child abuse in a lot of cultures
