Been eating Sayadieh since I was born, never like this.

Freekeh with Chicken Heat ¼ cup of oil in a pot. Add ½ onion finely chopped, 1 Tbs of garlic And Labanese 7 Spices: 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp cardamom/ginger 1 tsp coriander 1/4 tsp parsley/ any green clove 1/4 nutmeg Add chicken with enough water to cover. Bring to a boiling on high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes. Add rice and Freekeh grains (wheat Duran) with appropriate water measurement and cook 20 minutes. Serve rice on family plate and arrange chicken. Sprinkled with golden fried almonds, raisins and pine nuts.
