Would probably give it a 6, too. If you played Hellblade 1, you could expect that it wouldn't focus much on gameplay. But it felt like there was even less gameplay variety than in the first one and that's saying something. I also didn't like the way they told the story. Having more people around Senua is a good concept but they didn't give that enough time to really connect to the characters. Yea it looks great but it takes less time to complete, has less gameplay variety, less fun combat and the story is alright but not as great as the first one. Still costs twice as much as Hellblade 1, so... yea, it was a dissapointment for me, too.

I liked the review. It's made me think that I might actually buy the game on steam when it goes on sale as long as it's largely discounted.

Just finished it this weekend, it’s a masterpiece. The amount of effort put into it blows me away. I have no idea how they’re gonna top this in the third game.

I’ve been playing the original Red virtual console game to get the shiny Mew. A ton of fun. But as someone that started with Yellow that’s always gonna be my recommendation. Classic. Pure. All the starters. Great for if you just want a trip down memory lane
