Welcome to The Royal Docks, in the London borough of Newham.
We find here London City Airport, the Excel London exhibition centre, and the IFS Cloud Cable Car which crosses the River Thames over to Greenwich, where we find The O2.
Some fun facts:
• The O2 was originally called the Millennium Dome, marking the beginning of the new millennium in 2000. It is the largest dome structure in the world.
• The cable car is the highest observation point over the Thames (at just under 300ft), spanning just over 1km across the river.
