I'm an old man that's going to give you a free tip. I realize this is a subtle English correction often missed by non-native English speakers. Calling people "bro", instantly makes you sound like douche-bag / Euro-trash.... the last people you'd want life advice from, especially when they appear to still be in highschool. Decades ago 'bro' was African-American slang, which was appropriated to the general public ... but is now something you'd say to a guy on the street who bumped your shoulder and you're about to scrap with, when that guy is very much NOT your bro. The other demographic that clings to it are the widely mocked "bros".
