Precision Leadscrew and Nuts
Precision lead screw ranges are available from 1mm to 25mm in diameter and can be combined with an incredibly diverse amount of nut options. Both screws and nuts are available in various materials and performance characteristics and utilizing a variety of machining methods delivers a technical solution that is within budget. Enhancements to the product can be through in-house machining of end journals to the application of dry lubricant technology. what is the life of Roller screws? how many linear operations in Millions before the change.? How much loads it can take? it means motion is against the opposite force is Appx 20 kg. Please clarify. 2. what is the max design speed we can attain? Thanks
Hi Sai - Great questions ! Engineers at ABSSAC are often asked about the life expectancy of the roller screw product. Typically, our roller screw are rated for millions of mm’s of travel at the rated dynamic load. Whilst this can sometimes be a difficult thing to accurately calculate, as parameters within an application can change, it can nevertheless be achieved. Parameters such as the load, temperature, environment and rotational speed are all variables that effect performance . Loads accepted can be up to many hundreeds of Kilo Newtons. The maximums are nornally calculated against your desired perfomance, so the best way forward is to complete the application data sheet and we can advise the best solution. -An on line application data sheet can be found here - www.abssac.co.uk/quote/ball-lead-screw/
