A car accident caused Raymo to sustain a femur fracture. With the help of our Fellowship Trained and & Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon, Dr. Matthew Negem, our Orthopedic Trauma Team, and Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital, Raymo was able to make a full recovery. Wow! That’s my sister! I’m so glad the South Texas Bone and Joint staff was able to help my sister gain her mobility again. I know she is also thankful for that too. She’s only had great things to say about the staff that took care of her, and not just during her surgery, I’m also taking about the post op care and physical therapy too. It makes my heart feel good to see her walking and doing things like before!
I am so happy for you that you made it through!! I have Dr. Larkins as my surgeon too. I had a triple arthrodesis done to my left foot. You are absolutely right he is very sweet, kind and down to earth and great bedside manner. I am hoping to be up and walking in a few weeks too. Your story is a true inspiration!!
