For those perfectionist out there, you can use Face snap to place objects perfectly on top of each other. Make sure to set your transform pivot point to Bounding Box. Great video for absolute begineers!

How do you adjust the quality of the trail, mine are a bit stepped when using long trails. Would like to get them nice and smooth.
it may be because of graphics card or may be bcoz of cached playback toggled on, try to render and check the result bro.
