Took a trip to the Croatian coast. Beautiful waters. Caught a few brown combers, painted combers, some bait fish, and of course the most venomous fish in the Adriatic - the greater weever! Stay safe.

The weewer taste fantastisc. Im from Denmark and on shore every year i catch a lot of them and fry them.

nect time when u go fishing in croatia dont use chicken for bait, try using some shrimps, crabs, sardins, squid, beach worms or just anything that u find on the beach

I caught a barakuda from the beach in Montenegro . Used patchinko 125 and it was around 9 pm

we fish a shitload of those, you just cut off the spines and then they are ready for the fish soup. They are *small*, you need idk, at least 4 per person, but more is better.

Its the bait and the size of the hook. Next time try with the squid and smaller hook for baitfish

I think he knows how to fish for freshwater species,but not for saltwater ones,i usually just take some line a weight and a hook and go fishing while swimming,it is actually quite effective.

I am from Zadar, about 200 kilometres north from where you've been fishing, now it's winter and i am fishing mostly squids and cuttlefish( with squid lure, eging method) and sometimes i go to place where it's deeper sea and jigging mostly for seabass, atlantic bonito, blue fish and some other fishes which i don't know their names on english or latin, but they are from the genus Sparidae, the most common ones are Fratar( on english it means Monk, one black line full near the tail, other near the head), Orada, Podlanica( on latin something like Aurata, golden spot near the head, very strong teeth) , Arbun( fish with nice orange -red colour)
Man tray squid it cost you 30 kn to buy in any store frozen ,you can catch anything from sardine to lavation .

I catch fish for preserving them,also called taxidermy,where you skin a fish and put the skin on a mould,and then paint it ,looks very lifelike if you do it correctly,i am trying to catch all the mediterranean species of comber for collection,i currently have only two species.
@@komradentomolog7701 oh cool, I can give you some advice on catching them they get up to like 300 grams, rarely, but they do. try a small red silicone lure with a red jighead, then just cast it around rocks. Or just swim around look for one and put the bait in their face, their easy to catch...

Just a little tip ....... Dont let you fish hang in the water , a seal will snatch it from you before you could even blink possibly hooking you with the hooks , take you and the fish overboard or possibly biting you in the process . And the second one is that a shark will do the same but the outcome will be much worse . ..... Always get your fish into the kayak as quick as possible . The splashing around on the surface will attract both seals and sharks ... Great video though , stay safe and tight lines 🤙

Hot water, as hot as you can handle will break down the poison. I would have flat packed the little bastard with my boot. And over there you don't lose fishing gear, you dive in and get it. It's soooo nice in

you need to now one thing, GOOD fish are not stupid in croatia like in america and you need thin line and many other things.And dont throw lure its harder way to catch fish but if someone tells you some good position and technique throw it. This is not hate its advice,i like to see someone strange visit here. Take a look on some Italians techniques and combine.
Yeah,also freshwater fish really are stupid,they bite on nearly anything,but saltwater fish are much smarter,i use green line and that seems to work well.
One small comment on the video editing: use slow motion replay instead of freeze frame. Very cool video with good music intro and tons of info. Keitech does miracles for me too !

A cigarette lighter might help as well if there's no hot water around. Just pass a stung area a few times over the flame and then wash it with some cold water after a while to ease the burn. No need to submerge entire hand into hot water. Fish venom is thermally unstable in general.
