Rotisserie Wagyu Picanha By Chef Reuben Riffel
I was bought this for a birthday a couple of years ago but haven’t had a need of it. Just opened the box while we’re camping and saddened to see it’s missing the grill grid. Is this a normal thing. I won’t have a receipt or anything now 😢
Hey Jonathan. Would you mind emailing cobb@cobbgrillamerica.com / kayleigh@cobbglobal.com so that we can resolve this issue. With the email, would you mind sending us your serial number of the COBB. Let's get this sorted thank you!
Recept?
Fuel Light 1/2 CobbleStone and allow to burn for 5 minutes. Top your COBB with the grill grid and roast rack, cover with the Dome and preheat for 10 minutes. INGREDIENTS: {SERVES 6} Filling 1 large can (765g) sliced pie apples 100g fresh or frozen blueberries 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract 1 teaspoon (5ml) ground cinnamon ½ cup (125ml) treacle (soft brown) sugar Topping 1 packet (200g) ginger nut biscuits 1 packet (200g) shortbread biscuits ½ cup (125ml) dried coconut flakes Handful of chopped mixed nuts For serving Cold custard, cream or ice cream Accessories: Fenced Roast Rack Method: 1. Light ½ Cobblestone and allow to burn for 5 minutes. Top your COBB with the grill grid and roast rack, cover with the dome and preheat for 20 minutes. 2. Mix the filling ingredients together, and spoon into an ovenproof dish that fits into the COBB (a deep enamel plate will work well). Crush the biscuits using a jar or crumble with your fingers. Mix with the rest of the topping ingredients and scatter over the pie filling. 3. Place the dish on the roast rack, cover with the 4. Dome Lid and bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbling and fragrant. 5. Remove and cool slightly before serving.
1 Cobblestone =£2.50 8 briquettes (for 1 BBQ) = £0.60

@@cobbinternational6115 i know, thats why im back. i tried to buy one 3 years ago but couldnt find any information on them. if RoseRed says they work ill get one
What does putting the Lipton onion soup out in the freezer do for rotisserie? How do you use it?
Nice to see the rotisserie adapter for the Cobb!🤗😋
The best!
My Rotisserie design took quite some time to think about not knowing if it was going to work, when I tested it, this changed my way of using the Rotisserie and I would never go back to wrestling with the Chicken or Meat again. Make one for yourself; it is easier when there is one that you can view. Or use your own design.👍👍
How to view the easier rotisserie ? Too bad there is not 1 video of the Cobb that shows more than 35 seconds of the food someone is cooking, not ‘how to prepare the cooking device’😬😳
Hello @bonniebartlow5631 - Would you like to see a video from start to end of the Rotesserie in action from the time it is put on to the time the meat is cooked through? Let us know so we can see how we can assist!
I have made a more user friendly rotisserie that fits the Cobb BBQ. It is quicker and easier to use and has made the spit and prongs for home BBQ’s out of date. This device will accept a medium size chicken for the Cobb.
How do you do the rotisserie different than this man did it?
How do you know when it’s lit? Watched someone do it on their camp and it took them a while to light. They waited til they saw a flame and smoke.
Hello @nitafairburn - A jet-flame lighter is recommended to light the CobbleStone. A crumpled piece of serviette or a fire lighter may also be used if you prefer this method. Place the CobbleStone in the fire basket, use the lifting to hold the CobbleStone in the fire basket and ignite from underneath. Once ignited, the CobbleStone, you’ll hear and see a soft crackling sound and will see the CobbleStone start to smoke. It may produce a small flame and smokes until the CobbleStone is fully lit.
Not hot enough to actually grill. More of a low-powered oven. The Weber Go Anywhere kicks its arse.
Hi George, I work with COBB and am interested in hearing more from you to understand your comment. Would you be able to send your email address and I will contact you directly? I'd like to understand how you used the product that may have affected heat as this is not common. Much appreciated.
@@cobbinternational6115 Sorry it took so long to reply. Operation: Put the Cobblestone in, allow it to heat up, put a cooking plate on, and cook food with the lid. Do I have that wrong? The plate or cooking surface is too far from the heat so cooking is slow. The heat therefore is low compared to the Webber Go Anywhere (A Webber portable grill) where the cooking surface is less than half the distance from the coals. The Cobb in my opinion is a mid cooker, slow and low heat in comparison making cooking with a sear almost impossible. This makes my BBQ lamb chops look like they have been boiled, not grilled unless you leave them there for almost 30 minutes to cook, The Webber Go Anywhere also has more control over the heat production and, thus, the cooking... It's the cooking that matters, am I right? I am having trouble seeing the attraction to the Cobb, even though I have one and occasionally use it. To finish. The Cobblestones are $5 a stone pluss P&H. Not cost-effective compared to the fire beads., even if I have to wait 30 minutes for them to heat up. I hope this helps and answers any questions. Let me know.
Where are the actual ingredients and amounts?
Hi how do you make your sauce for the steak thanks Gary
Looks great. I made a rotisserie for my Cobb before they bought the new one out. Use it a lot. One thing I’ve done for a long time even if using oven is put a packet of French onion soup in a freezer bag and coat chicken then either roast on the Cobb normally or use the rotisserie on Cobb. Always comes out beautiful
Finally used my cobb cooking off of for 3 months! So worth the cash!
I bought it used it last week for camping, didn't work at all. Pizza's just welded to the stone and didn't cook properly even after 30 mins. Mind you I don't have the little metal rack that raises it. Is that critical or not? Thanks.
🤣🤣
Ensure the pizza stone is hot, then put flour or even better some semolina on the stone put the pizza on top cook to your preference and that should stop any sticking. You do need the roasting rack for this
We need a bigger bag to incorporate the chopping board and the pizza stone... please?
How long did the salmon take to smoke?
only problem is the chopping board at the bottom ruins this plan. Just too much
1:02c
16 seconds is not a how to!
How big is the stone? In cm?
Can you please make an update to this instructional video, except this time including the pizza stone too? Or is the pizza stone safer in a separate carrying bag (with the chopping board)?
Where can I buy the cobblestone refills please? They are fantastic and quick. I have searched everywhere in the UK and have limited desire to use charcoal beads/briquettes. They take far longer than the cobblestones. Any names of suppliers please ?
Cobblestones are unavailable in uk 🤔
I got my from a Lakeland store in my local shopping centre. Box of 6 cobblestones.
Not in Ireland anyway. Worst BBQ I've ever bought
*We cooked salmon in about 50 min.>>>**t.co/cHk5ycuwdA** with only 4 coconut briquettes and some hickory and it had a great flavor. Love it.*

no protection for griddle?!?
Hi Daniel, always a good idea, if you are worried and would like a little bit of extra protection.
Sweet, where can I get one? Do they make em a little bigger?
Hey Jim - depends, where do you live?
