I have an older brother and I love him even in spite of the multitude of scars i still suffer from that he caused and the years of torment and psychological torture i silently endured by him. I would still give him my kidney but that is because he is one of my best friends and always will be and I know he has suffered just like I did even if not to the same extremes. He didn't ever betray me however, he has always been respectful and I admit I haven't given him that same respect and I am trying to change that especially since now we are on good terms. With that kind of betrayal, that is no longer a sister and if she is begging for a kidney and doesn't make amends with you first then she is just using you as an organ storage unit. It might be cruel but until she appologizes and so does your bully (or the bully can just be cut out and left behind either way) then I wouldn't give my kidney in that situation and the appologies must be genuine. If things go back to the same way they were afterwards then i have no idea what to do but that is my general view on it.

It's unfortunate that's for sure, but you should realize how lucky you got. It could've been a lot worse. Imagine she comes out, but later. Like 3 children, a mortgage, cars, established career...5-10 years later. At least you didn't have all of that to lose as well. i have bpd so i do sympathize a bit, however that doesnt make it okay. you need to realize its a problem, and the second you do, start working to fix it. i used to do this stuff with my boyfriend. i was extremely insecure, i hated when he did anything without me. i also used to do things like say "i dont want anything to eat" and then get upset that he didnt get us anything to eat. its not fair and it is so draining for your partner. i am beyond lucky that mine stayed with me through all that and has even helped me get help. im leaving for school for a few years but when i come back were even going to do couple counseling. i didnt deserve him, but i hope now i do. all i want is for him to be happy and fullfilled in life, and the kind of behavior op is describing is the opposite of that.
