Jackie on the Go
Приєднався 16 січ 2016
I love everything about camping. The planning and setting up is my favorite part. The taking down is my least favorite because that means it’s time to go back to the real world. Being outside and traveling to different places allows me to see what God created. When I’m not camping I enjoy crafting and being with my family.

This might have been the best family vacation so far
When you have a long stretch between water maybe you should fill up one of your water bags too just in case, you all are doing good been watching from day 1 you to go!
Thank you! 😊yes we started doing that after that day of no water haha! We didn’t want to go through that again 😳
hey good to see you both .. as a fan & subscriber of your I found that you gays are doing good content but don't get views and subscriber of your channel its quite upset. AS a content creator I found that you gays don't do proper SEO optimization of your regular videos and also channel no ranked tag, no professional thumbnail ...that;s why it;s not growing ... If you gay's need help as a regular fan of your content I would love to help you gays Your top fan

Following you on this journey. Praying for your success and completion of that wonderful trail . Stay safe be blessed
Thank you for sharing your hiking adventures. Beautiful views.
Sounds like you were talking about the Trail Marshall.
While you were walking up to the shelter, it looked like a mural on the whole side, of an Indian girl.
@@sheilabishop-cn6ey I went back and looked to see what you saw and I see it!! Awesome haha
@@jackieonthego I'm glad it wasn't just me that sees it.
Wow, that cleaned up the water really good.
Yes the sawyer water filters are great!
You both will build up strength in your legs as time goes on.
Good show thank you.
Such nice videos and beautiful views! Thank-you for sharing your adventure with us. Wish I was there too.
Thanks for sharing. I am a little surprised that water from a piped spring would still need to be filtered.
It’s probably ok but better safe than sorry
I love watching your adventures
This is a fantastic hike with great views. I'm following your progress day by day. Thanks!
@@joannerichards1750 thank you! We just did a small section of 40 miles but we have a total of 137 so far😀
This is a friendly, fun glimpse into a pleasant section hike. Thanks for showing us the beauty of the TN/NC Appalachian Trail.
Thank you for watching!
Dang.... And I get out of breath hooking up a trailer LOL... You go girl...
Oh trust me I’m out of breath!! Haha!!
Thanks for sharing your hike with us.
Succes ❤
Thank you! We found out there was to much rust on the frame of the Shasta so we won’t be restoring it after all but will part out the parts from it. The Yellowstone will be a complete frame off restoration. So we weren’t worried about the inside being to far gone… it will be a big project but we are looking forward to it. We follow mobile tech on UA-cam and he teaches how to do restore and work on vintage campers. We restored (frame off) our little Scotty Serro a few years ago, it was a big project. Hopefully we can start on the Yellowstone in a month or so.
Hello new subscriber here. I was looking at the Yellowstone you bought. Thought it was a little rough for me, but it was a really good price. Looking forward to following your progress. Those Yellowstones are really nice when done right. I live in Sanford and is redoing a 1960 Fire Ball. Your Shasta can be nice also. Both where good finds.
I’d like to see your camper… do you do UA-cam? If so share me your link so I can see your progress… you do t live to far from us 😀
Very nice project. I have 1953 Terry 20’ in the same shape I need to get started on. If you ever have questions there’s a UA-cam channel mobiletec, Larry has tons of videos on restoring Canned Ham trailer’s. Thanks 4 sharing

it is so fun to see all the different things you thought of to make. very nice.
This is amazing! Great work. Very impressive. 😊
Awwwww I remember how we would talk on the phone for hours while we worked on our fairy houses together. This brings back so many memories of the details that we worked on and shared.
Thank you Colleen! Yes spending time with family is so special. We will be going to Nebraska to see Darlyne soon!
How fun!! Enjoy and have a safe trip. ❤
Congratulations on your newest grandson. He’s precious. How wonderful the time you and Becky get to spend together. I wish I could see Karen more. There is nothing like a sister bond. You both are beautiful inside and out. 🩷🩷
🙌🏾🙌🏾
Enjoyed the video! Glad you all had fun celebrating Raegan’s bday at carowinds!!
It was nice meeting you guys on the FHT and (I remember that big tree). I use an ursack bear bag most of the time (much easier) just strap it to the tree. I will watch your other videos soon. Take care and have fun on the trail. New friend and subscriber.
Yes I’ve looked into the ursacks… they do look easier! I also have our thru hike on there that we did last year or maybe it was 2 years ago.. anyway we just video for the fun of it and sharing with family and friends. But either way enjoy!
@@jackieonthego Sure, I understand. Great time with family and nature. Keeping the memories (for the kids) too. Take care
Hi, My sister and I plan to do this same section later this month. We plan to go from Oconee and get off at White water falls and were wondering if there was a reason you chose to do it in the direction you did? We’re not familiar with the area so we’re curious if we should consider doing it the way you did.
Hi we were told it wasn’t a good idea to leave the car parked at whitewater parking lot for multiple overnights… so the Shuttle Driver suggested that we park at Oconee State Park and pay I think it was five or six dollars a night at the office and then he shuttle us to Whitewater and dropped us off there and we hiked back to our car at a Coney State Park.
@@jackieonthego thanks for the info. A shuttle driver we contacted told us that too, maybe we’ll reverse our plan.
@@whatareweuptonow4415 good luck it is a great trail! My husband and I did a thru hike a couple years ago… we did oconee to table rock.. we took 10 days because #1 I’m slow haha #2 we like to take our time and enjoy the campsites. Happy Hiking!
🤩🤩🤩
Great video! Where do you find the water hose? I’m heading there in April and I’m curious where to find it Thx!
I’m sorry I’m just seeing this so I’m sure you found it! It’s on the road by the bath rooms on the beach side.
@@jackieonthego I did thx👍🏻
*_Hello Jackie on The Go.... this is a compact family who likes adventure activities, have you just finished camping or just hiking together?, I like families like this, each carrying a backpack... greetings from Indonesia...._* 👣👣👣💯👌👍
Fun family Christmas! It’s nice to see a whole family come together for these kinds of traditions. Merry belated!
Watched it on my TV. So cool
😊watched it on my tv
Thank you JoLeigh “my biggest UA-cam fan” 😊
I’m sure it felt good to hike without your packs for a change 😄 playing on the rocks looked so fun!
So fun! 🎉
What a great way to have a birthday... Did ya spend the winnings on anything fun?
“This is my first time hitchhiking so I gotta get it on video to send to my kids” 🤣🤣
Wow!! I know pictures don’t do that sunset justice 😍😍
Timber aka Ms. Turtle 😆
We stayed at Vogal SP too. We loved it-so pretty!
That peach water tower is in SC! Believe it or not, SC used to grow more peaches than GA. And the new Visitors Center was still under construction when I hiked in June. Lucky you!
Oh wow I didn’t know that! Hey what are some good state parks to camp at in SC?
@@jackieonthego depending on what you’re looking for: if you want to hike, Oconee SP or Table Rock have the best trail access right in the parks. If you want to just relax by the lake and maybe kayak, Hamilton Branch SP, site #15 is my absolute favorite. Most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. If you want the beach, Huntington Beach SP is beautiful and has lots to do.
What a fun trip! I would love to do that!
Beautiful sunrise, reminds me of the one's in California.
Not almost scarey, SCAREY CASTLE. ha!
