Oh, this brings me back memories when I would play RE5 🥺 Makes me want to connect my Xbox 360 or PS4 to play RE5 especially the Gold Edition version ❤

It was the age of visual filters. The reason why it looks "shit" is because it lacks color. The other exaggerated effect is the strong bloom effect that's used to hide the distant, less detailed background scene.
