Agwas Café
Slowly picking ourselves up from the effects of the Pandemic, we're rebuilding from what was left of the old, and trusting and accepting the new.
We are finally opening to public this bamboo café which we considered slow and sustainable. Designed by M+S Studio Co., made from locally sourced bamboo and handcrafted by the Farms' inhouse and local team.
Located at Alhibé Farm in Brgy. Sac-on, Carmen, Cebu. Limited capacity of only 44 diners only at a time and limited street parking space. Opens from 9am to 6pm daily.

How Gardening helps in these trying times
Переглядів 2813 роки тому
During the pandemic we were forced to temporarily close our businesses. Instead of worrying and focusing too much on these things we can't control, we decided to come home to the farm, and do the things we have kept putting off while we were busy working in the city. One of those is gardening, or working with plants. Our quarantine period had given us more time to connect with nature. Here, eve...
No Yeast Flower Glazed Donuts
Переглядів 3494 роки тому
We craved for the colorful commercial donuts we used to buy in malls. Yet this quarantine made it impossible to get one! Luckily we had the basic ingredients to be able to create one, while we don't have the food colorings, candies & other sweet glazings, we thought of putting colors on top by working with flowers again! And that's what really made the experience of making it more exciting! And...

Alhibe Farm: Harvesting and Air drying Blue Pea Blossoms (Blue Ternate)
Переглядів 10 тис.4 роки тому
Blue ternates are one of those plants that appreciates, when we harvest them. Probably they feel fulfilled with their purpose that way. In turn they would give us more of their blossoms, even after just a couple of days from the time we harvested. One thing also, if we just leave them be on their vines, and pick just a few only by the time we need them, we might already have lost more of them t...

Blue Biko: Made with Blue Ternates
Переглядів 5054 роки тому
Experimented with blue colored biko. Here we used blue ternate infused water to cook the sticky rice. It's what gave the rice its blue color. We used white sugar in order to not taint the color, for the blue hue to really come out. In the end, the taste is still biko. Enjoy making yours! =) . Alhibé Farm: First drone shot of the first developments
Переглядів 2754 роки тому
The very first drone shot Marvin took of the farm, after completing the earth works at the "Patag" area. As one can see, the place is still quite bare, while the herbs and other plants were still newly planted or still on the checklist. Now the farm has changed quite a lot in terms of its vegetation and other necessities.

This was really cool! Did you try seeing if the transparent inks would show up under a black light or react to heat like lemon juice will? I'm also curious if these colors would get more vibrant if the water were allowed to evaporate for a few days or if they would just go bad. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! ❤
