I share videos where I stand behind the camera, in front of it, or fly with it, as a paragliding pilot.
7 MOST DIFFICULT paragliding launches of my career - WINS (luckily) no FAILS
On launch you sometimes battle with strong wind, other times with no wind or even a tailwind. Some sites are spacious, some small and tight. Here is my collection of launches worth mentioning.

My TOP 7 worst (documented) paragliding landings. Some turned out fine, once I broke my hand landing in difficult terrain. Lack of experience is showing. Today I would definitely do it differently. Fly fun and safe!

Awesome
Take off from a small rocky peak .. after climbing 2000m d+ uphill 💪🏻
All of them are just bad decision making, not hard... Flying whitout the helmet? And its forbidden to launch in Triglav national park...
@@Pastakl Of course I flew with a helmet - when you see me without it it's when I hold it in my hand, because the camera is mounted on it. Before going up I researched on this topic and found information that paragliding is forbidden in "deep zones". According to map, Triglav was right on the boarder, but I flew to the west, away from the deep zone. This was couple years back. I researched on this topic now and much clearer information is available, marking sites where you are allowed to launch and land. Thank you for pointing this out, I'm pasting the link so others can learn: www.tnp.si/en/visiting-park/activities-and-sights/aerial-sports/
Great job,. like the edits!
that last one was insane, really gotta trust those strangers
Wow man, no helmet on such a rocky start! Not recommended.... But good video!
Camera was on the helmet, so when I pointed it at myself I held them both my hand for a second 😂
what a idiot!
Great video.!! 🙌🏽👏🏻
too much CO2
Ego cam on helmet risks line entanglement and CRASH
The risk of the wind being too high for launch or weather moving in! How did you plan the timing so well?
I was leaning left and right watching this on the couch 😂 the car dodge at the hotel had me squirming
Fantastico, fai sembrare tutto semplice anche quando non lo é.... Chapeau 👍🏻
Well, MOST of the actual landings were rather good, considering the circumstances. The decisions that got you in these circumstances though... ;-) We learn from our mistakes!
The clapping and cheering were hilarious 😂😂
Congratulations on launching from Triglav.
Very interesting video. I like the labels, what video editing software do you have?

buen video
poor Forest 😅 , my contribution , and a fabulous simulation i found last week :-) ua-cam.com/video/JlBBnSN5Gg8/v-deo.html
That car tow looks sketchy af very short line
And the rope tied to the toe hook, wow, that could have been really bad.
I have the need, the need for flight 😊
Launching from triglav is ILLEGAL and was ilegal for the last ... 15 years or so
dude! fixed rope towing surely is not a good idea.
For sure! We had a quick release, though not a standard one as you use for towing in SIV...
@@martinsulek1139 Even then, this is risky with such a short non-flexible rope. A windgust in the wrong moment and you react 1 second late and you are toast - or rather smashed to pieces. Long flexible rope can work okish - much better is a payout winch.
Yeah, please don't repeat, anyone. It's been proven in the olden days: you will punch a big hole in the ground and die on a fixed rope tow. (It's a positive feedback run-away system: A very small asymmetry creates more side-pull which leads to more asymmetry which leads to more side-pull etc. This happens much too fast to react - you don't have even one second.) That's why all tow winches need to regulate the force to break the feedback loop.
Definitely agree. I’ve done surface towing from a boat for SIV training with a pay out winch obviously and very experienced tow tech’s. The tow itself is still not very comfortable, you can feel every wake that the boat hits, and lock out can be much easier to control when using a proper set up and experienced people. But static towing like seen in this video is so dangerous! It doesn’t seem like it would be when you don’t know but it can go south very quickly, especially with such a short rope.
First two minutes of towing instructions: Never, never, never, ever use a fixed rope!
Nice editing. Also the take off from the rocky peak was really impressive, that would be probably impossible without people helping.
You make it look easy. Hats off to you!
Crazy bastard!
Why did this happen? Bicouse you don't know to lend go back to school hell and learn
I'll take some strong pills to harness pocket after seeing this hand.. :o
Not worth to risk health for a little fun. You dont have to start but you have to land. I think it was just luck you was not insured.
Well done and perfect movie ! Good luck
Perfektné videjko, ďakujem.😅🤗🛶
Das sind ein paar der heissesten Landungen die auf YT zu sehen sind. Gratuliere, du weisst was dein Publikum sehen will. Bei 3 hatte ich einen Moment das Gefühl dass es ein Klärteich sei.
Crazy, really crazy.
Stop flying. There are pilots who shouldn't fly, you're one of them.
Did he brake his arm, and than strengthened it by him self ?! ⚞WOW⚟ that’s hardcore 😱
How long did it take you to get off the tree?
Right away. Unbuckled and climbed down in few steps. Untackling the glider after had a different timeline 😜
Love your video! Thanks
Ever landing was a nail biter.
these were smooth
Too steel balls!!
this is awesome.. rlly nice musicc too great harmonization
Dude if you are grabbing your risers like that after 6 years+ of flying, you need to go back to the basics... Too many very bad decisions...
I noticed the same. That gives very poor control.
He even dropped toggles at 8:30
As much as I didn't like his decisions that resulted in these videos, he was not grabbing the risers, he pulled big ears and was weight steering into that narrow spot.
@@hlev80 He was definetly grabbing risers. Look at 5:25 onwards for example. At the end he did do big ears, but at that time he dropped the toggles, which is just plain stupid.
@@VilleValpuri that's the exact moment he pulls big ears at. The brake toggles are in his hands too while doing it (the left one at least)
Great Montage i was rocking and leaning in my chair as you have been landing in that narrow road beside the small river couldnt belive you made it so nice even thinking about pulling ears to make it on that thight spot
natural selection - Darwin explains.
I love you man and I am pumped when I'm thinking about this flying and I'm learning how to fly a epsilon 9 I'm already 65 years old I'm poor and it was all the money I had to buy the epsilon 9 and the lessons. They tow me up into the air a couple thousand feet, in a great big giant flat place with a few trees but not very many. I'm old and fat and crippled and I'm flying kind of heavy on the Wing. I told the instructor there was no way I was ever going to choose to land where those guys land with all those cars around there and stuff to hit. I want to land in the great big giant flat place with nothing around. I thought I could just weight shift and fly in a great big circle about a hundred yards across. I have a board seat harness and I wanted to unbuckle the chest so I can lean Way Forward and block a bunch of are and create a bunch of drag. Most of all fly around with my weight shifted in a big circle like that until I get done around 50 ft2. Fly at trim speed. Then I will do my approach with my hands up mostly and focus on keeping the roll axis level as it flies down to the ground. When I'm one foot from the ground with my wing nice and level and point it into the wind pretty much hanging down nice and stable I'm going to slam on the brakes as hard and as fast as I can so it doesn't have a chance to get too far out of control. If I'm leaning Way Forward and I'm biting into my mouthpiece at trim speed I just have to take my medicine and do the parachute landing fall. Does that sound like it would work?
You play with death.
Just curious but every time you fly, do you always have to have someone with you on the ground to pick you up when you land? I'd so that means you can only fly if someone else is available. One more thing, have you ever injured yourself paragliding?
