Much too slow for SAR. Maybe you missed that? Don't follow the Canadian example of super polar bear gun up front. The Danish Thetis class vessels are very well outfitted for maritime patrol of Faroe Islands and Greenland. At least you got that artists conception right on one point: a forward main gun backed up with a seperate AAA turret also forward. Again. Unlike the RCN variant.

I'm curious if these options will be available for T31 for the UK. Modular systems is definitly the way to go. Even the reserved space for the VLS should be modular so it can quickly be upgraded from 8, 16 or 32 depending on the risk and why ship has been deployed.

Vad väger vikterna på var sida av pylonen i testet? Jag vet att mittensektionen ska väga 750 ton, och att det är fördelat på fyra pyloner. Men vad ligger testvikten på, i det här klippet? Om det nu är möjligt att få svar på. Är bara tekniskt nyfiken! :)
Testet är fullskala, dvs. vikterna motsvarar de vikter som gäller i den slutgiltiga installationen. Mellanskillnaden mellan bro och motvikt är ca 20 ton och det sitter 4 sådana maskinerier i den färdiga bron (ett i varje hörn). Motvikten väger ca 185 ton. Hoppas det gav svar på dina frågor om än något sent kanske.. =)
