Glenoe: a 32 bar strathspey for three couples in a three couple longwise set. Devised by Daphne Jones 23 March 2017 for Elma McCausland MBE, who lives at Glenoe, Bangor, Co Down. It is danced here to Elisabeth Hunter's Strathspey by Muriel Johnstone and her band. Other suggested music is Mathilde is a Delight, RSCDS Book 50, recorded by Scott Band.

Ah, this week I suppose I have to be a man! We had sashes to distinguish when this happened, which was most nights.
Sashes can be used, it tends to be with very beginners/ children’s classes. We aim as dancers to be able to cope on the dancefloor without those aides!

Am I alone in thinking that the sole gentleman is a very lucky guy? Not to say that his vigour and timing deserve anything less.

Beautifully done and for some reason, in the middle of lockdown as we are, it made me cry. I guess I'm missing all my pals at my Scottish Country Dance class. Not to mention lovely dances like this one. The Dreamcatcher is one of my favourites!

Missing my friends at my classes too.
Love it. Don't like too many strathspeys but this looks so pretty and definitely on a par with my beloved 'City of Belfast'.
